  1. I broke the peg off the back yesterday. It shattered the surrounding case. Im not sure if the 110 would work but I assume so. If you dont have on but know where I could locate one I would appreciate it. Thanks Jeff jeff.whited@verizon.net
  2. I had the same problem. You need to find and load the driver for the adapter. I found mine on the cable manufacturers website.
  3. I had the same problem. You need to go to the cable manufacturers website and get the drivers for the cable. If you are using mapsource you need to have upload to device/ save to device set to serial port and not usb. Mine ended up using serial port 4 with the usb adapter. Another thing I noticed is it only works on 1 USB port. It will not find it if I have it plugged into the one of the other 3.

  5. My outlook filters out the pocket queries. It considers them harmful to my system. If you click the forward button you can download it when the new window opens.
  6. Thanks for the replies. I went to the manufacturers (iogear.com) website and downloaded the driver. After a couple of frustrating hours we finally got it to work. One of the problems was that it now routes through com3 and not the usb tab as I expected. Thanks again Jeff
  7. Which drivers did you use. I purchased my adapter from Bestbuy. It was not Garmin specific and did not include any cables. Is the driver available for download? thanks Jeff
  8. The laptop Im using does not have a serial port so I bought a serial to usb adapter. When I try to upload to the rino from mapsource it doesnt show the rino in the usb window. Anybody running a usb adapter? Is there a software upgrade I need to do? Thanks Jeff
