I was not aware of needing to sign your user name from here. I am usually with the kids and they sign and date the cache. I guess I need to go back to the few we have found and add my user name..hmmmm

I only cache with the kids (and only a few times thus far) but there seem to be plenty of kid friendly caches. Once you find a solid one, just search the user and find others placed by them. I found a Dr. SeussCache..searched user and they had like 8 of them. Stuff to do over the next few weekends!!! And btw the kids LOVE being able to leave trinkets behind for others...find a treasure leave a treasure they say

I apologize if this has previously been explained. Searched forums and didn’t find this answer. I am new to geocaching, and downloaded the Groundspeak app. When we locate a cache we are interested in I click "navigate to geochache". A nice map pulls up, and a direct line is drawn to the location. Is there a way to get turn by turn directions to the waypoint instead of the direct line? Sometimes I am the only adult in the car and this becomes very difficult (kids not old enough to help). My only other option (that I know how to do) is to map it out before hand, or to input the cords into another app. Am I missing something on the Groundspeak app? Or are turn by turn directions frowned upon? Thanks
