The other day, I noticed 3 DNFs on a cache of mine. So I went there and found that the cache has fallen from its spot. I posted an OM on it. Then later I found in my dashboard, that cache was indicated that it needs help. It was already fixed before the notice. I contacted the help desk and they explained the health score and what to do to fix it. I already posted the OM and raised the D level (to higher than it really is). It is still indicating it needs help. No red wrench was ever put on that cache. Again, I contacted the help desk and just get generic responses without reading what was done to the cache. So, just going in a loop with them. Any ideas on what can be done to remove the indicator?

Am I personally not satisfied? Yes, but that was due to them just giving me prepared responses without answering any of my questions posed to them. I would have loved one. I am expressing frustration from within our community by the way it was dealt with. It rewarded someone that manipulates stats and begs for FPs. Personally, I think another round, this time giving them out due to merit would be nice. They are the ones that brought up a flawed algorithm to begin with. Probably would have been best for them to just say who they felt deserved it and that was it.

Why make it personal and think I am asking just for myself? I am not telling all on the board and I was not talking about a CV. The fact that the algorithm is such a secret, how do we know it won't be used again. If they knew it was there was going to be problems, then why not change it to begin with? I asked originally if anyone else got that response. I gather from you questioning me, the answer is no.

There are quite a few in our area that is not please with the was HQ handled the rewards. The algorithm was flawed, cachers that did not deserve got one, others that fit their criteria did not, it created a class structure, it encourages begging/harassing for FPS... To ignore the negatives is a poor way to do things. Things get better when negatives are corrected and then built upon. Also, this was the first time that doing it again was ever mentioned. They had previously stated that they had no plans to go beyond this release.

After contacting HQ about the virtual rewards and a little back-and-forth, I was given a response that I had info that I have not seen mentioned publicly. It stated, Now if this was to get me to stop contacting (I didn't, but they have not replied back since last Friday) or appease me, I don't know. Anyone else been told this?
