i see I am allowed to save up to 10 tracks... I dont know how to start a new one (and name it).. any help please!!

I am in new orleans... I knew that we are supposedly 5 feet below sea level... but 17 feet below?? or does this -17 feet elevation have anything to do with sea level?? also.. with 2.40 c on my legend and WAAS enabled still only accuracy to 22 feet..

I just acquired a etrex legen with what map i think is called americas highway 2.00.. also says ireland, ltd..... is this where the company is from?? or my legend was originally from ireland and had US map loaded onto it??

ok.. here goes.. when traveling on interstates... why doesnt my legend tell me how far I am while staying on the interstate?? it does a str8 line bird fly mileage ... is what IM looking for even possible?? for it to map me on te roads?? or addt'l software needed?

what are the major differences in those map cd's for a legend?? I just need something to be able to see my local city streets... I bought a legend.. in the mail... and about how much do these map cd's run?? do I upload one specific city at a time?? or whole country ?? or what?? I mean if I go on vacation.. am away from computer I'll be unable to store all cities at once b4 vacation>>?? thanks ya'll, John (new orleans)

which do ya'll prefer?? and what is the extra memory for in the pro version of the SporTrack (as compared to the SporTrack Map).. is it only if you are going to upload additional maps into the GPS?? or does it increase its speed at all??

can I use NiMH rechargeables in gps's?? I am thinking about buying the etrex legend.. but not if it is a battery eater that I cant use my rechargeable NiMH's with!! anyone know of GPS's that can use these batteries with??
