Just saw this on the delorme blogs. A new GPS from Delorme called the PN-60w. It is the new generation of GPS, but wait there's more. It comes with a spot satellite messenger module, that acts not only as a EPIRB RESCUE BEACON, but allows you to send custom text messages to anyone anywhere using their satellite network. the spot module can work STAND-ALONE as an epirb device, as well as link wireless using a mesh network 802XXX protocol to the PN-60W. you can enter custom messages and texts with the PN-60W GPS keyboard The pn-60W, allows you to send text messages to anyone via satellite as well as send text messages to any other pn-60w user with in a mile radius.
