Well this topic has really caught my interest. I was wondering if anyone could remeber exactly what episode of Oregon Field Guide it was in. Which might shed more light on the location if they had any shots of the surronding terrain appear in the show.

If your really motivated to do a lot of hiking I would suggest these three. Strawberry Meadow (Easy Hike ~1mi or so) (These two are in the area but you need to do a bit of walking to get to them on a gravel road great views though) Valley View Sunset Deck I spent about 3 hours or so running around the hills.. would have helped if I picked the right roads.
