  1. Go to this page: http://www.ded.com/nonags/webt.html Near the bottom of the page is Kill Popup. Download and run it. It sits in the taskbar with a red cross through it. It will kill ALL popup windows, and beep the speaker as each one dies. Want to bypass it because you need to click on a link that opens a second page? Simple - just press Ctrl as you click the link! Or, just click the Kill Popup icon in the task bar to temporarily disable it. I have used this FREE software for a few months and it has changed the way I surf. Put it in your Startup folder now - you will not regret it! Also, AdAware is FANTASTIC... just remember to run it after you upgrade to IE6 as IE6 now comes with Alexa spyware as standard ;-)
  2. Yeah, thanks Anders. Often wondered, how does Project work? I mean, how can you tell how far in the distance something is? Thanks, Ade.
  3. Just answered my own question by looking at the previous post. Sorry to bother y'all. (For those who want to know how it's done, just press and hold enter to mark a wpt as usual, then use the down key to highlight the wpt and press enter to edit it manually)
  4. I dig the tip about marking your car off... Imagine how dull "The Blair Witch" project would have been if they had had an Etrex.. LOL!

  6. Can anyone help? I have an Etrex Summit and data cable. I can add waypoints from the PC no problem using easy GPS etc... but if I have to do a calc as part of a multi-cache and enter a new waypoint based on a clue, how can I enter one without a PC there? I thought you couldn't add waypoints by hand directly to the unit? Also, does anyone know of a good map website that supplies .loc files for easygps based on a request for directions? I know about mapblast.com, but that only works with Expertgps... Any clues? Thanks, Ade.
