  2. I read that wrong, it say "visiting FROM Phoenix" Sorry, my mistake, guess I really do need those glasses! Dogs Have Owners....Cats Have Staff!!
  3. I would be happy to try to rescue this bug if it's still around to be found!! If you don't live in the Phoenix area, or can't get to the bug for a rescue attempt, pehaps I can help! Feel free to email me! bootsmcgee3@cox.net Dogs Have Owners....Cats Have Staff!!
  4. I got my husband into geocaching & we've been having a blast ever since! I first heard about Geocaching from TV's Wil Wheaton! I was checking out his webpage: www.wilwheaton.net and saw that he had mentioned it several times, so I clicked on the link to see what the heck it was all about! I told my hubby about it, we borrored a GPSr to try it out and the rest is history! He bought me a killer Magellan Meridian Platinum for my birthday Aug 22nd!! We've hidden two caches so far, and found about 20! We've been having so much fun, we go caching every chance we get! Today, we revisited a recent geocache area that we had gone to last week, it's a really cool place here in Arizona called the "Swimming Hole" just north of Phoenix! We had a nice picnic, jumped off the cliffs, swam and laughed all day! We would never have known about this place if not for geocaching! We both look forward to many more fun adventures! 5. We went to a nearby cache recently that was supposedly set up for kids to do. When we found the cache, it only had a couple of things inside. Really lame, crappy things! A used nail clippers & two small cup hooks!! This was kids stuff?? We were disappointed for the kids coming after this one, so we filled it with everything we had in our backpack, like actual toys!! Didn't mind one bit being the "Cache Fairy" on this one! We try to leave a cache a little bit better than we found it! The Pet Posse
  6. Help!! Any ideas for a Geocaching Themed Birthday Party? I've already thought of hiding the presents & party favors somewhere around the yard or neighborhood, then having the guests & birthday guy use a GPSr to find the goodies. Maybe use maps for placemats & tablecloths, or party hats & wrapping paper. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
  7. I would appreciate some input on an idea for my team's signature item. I take a ceramics class each week, and thought about making a bunch of 2 inch ceramic tiles with the Groundspeak/Geocaching logo on it. Then making the tiles into magnets. Would this be something folks would like to score? I also don't wish to step on any copywriting toes, so am not sure if I should use the logo. Thanks for your kind input!
  8. I found out about it from TV's Wil Wheaton!! His writings are intelligent, witty and very entertaining! Check out his website: wilwheaton.net Thanks Wil!!
