  1. "Go ahead. Take risks. Just be sure everything will turn out okay." -spoken to a small group seeking the original On the Edge
  2. The only FTF we ever scored had a Tahitian black pearl in it. We saved it for a few days to take to a geocaching event for others to see and then replaced it in another cache. Never heard from it again. So it goes...
  3. A little more research is indicating I may be up against replacing the entire keypad, not just the "FIND" button. The 60 CSx is a workhorse and I'm not ready to give it up for something else just yet. Maybe we should start a salvage yard?
  4. I lost my "Find" button and would love to make a deal with someone who has a "dead" unit they are parting out. smiley
  5. Here's one I did. I cut 1/2" of the end of the bolt with a hacksaw and epoxied it into the end of the nut and inserted an o-ring for sealing purposes. I also ground the end of the bolt flat to assure a good seal. Our best to you, smiley and the Miss...out wandering around...
  6. Have a look at this one in Missoula, MT GCNZ2F
  7. Livin' in fly fishing shangri-la. Caching a bit as well. Our best to you in 2K9 -smiley in Missoula, MT
  8. Dell Axim x5, loaded w/ cachemate. Couple this with Clyde's best GSAK and a Garmin 60CSx and I'm outahere! >>>smiley just wandered off again...
  9. Read here from Yahoo Groups thread. http://tinyurl.com/yorgn2 As the NG series is only 1:100000, I am contemplating its return in favor of learning how to make my own. This process could be entertaining and engaging, but we'll see! http://home.cinci.rr.com/creek/garmin.htm Cheers, -smiley
  10. Ouch! No replies? I have the same software and am searhing for the same question to be answered. These forums are some of the best for that but I have found the "search" function to be less than specific. Perhaps I need to work on it but usually I find what I'm looking for here. Cheers for the New Year! -smiley
