Did you buy the Rayovac 1 hour charger? I did not realize you could get a trickle charge with it.

If you need a case to protect your PDA while geocaching try otterbox.com. I just saw a review of their product in Pen Computing and it looks perfect for geocaching. Water proof, floats, you can stand on it and not hurt your PDA. Haven't purchased one yet but just might. They cost $50.

Can these two units be hooked up? Just got the Clie for Christmas and would like to include it in my geocaching. Thanks, Chuck

I know it may be overkill for a beginner but we really enjoy the various features it has. Found it a erwincomp.com for $296, which included 2 day air shipping. We looked at all the local sporting goods and electronics stores and this was about $100 less than they wanted. Since receiving it a few days ago we have found 3 caches, although we struck out today on our hunt.

My wife and I returned from vacation in Arkansas this past weekend where we were introduced to Geocaching by my wife's cousin Eric. He took us out on a hunt on Sugar Loaf, and we were hooked! Our 4 kids loved it and we both think it is a great new hobby for our family to try. I ordered a Meridian Platinum yesterday from erwincomp.com for $296 and should recieve it tomorrow.
