  1. Hi, I currently use my HTC One X for geocaching and it works extremely well. I like the ability to turn up anywhere and download local caches right to my phone. Also to be able to take them offline when out of network coverage. The only issue i have is battery life and accuracy under tree cover. I was thinking of getting a separate bluetooth GPS receiver, does anyone have any experience or advise using this setup? I want a receiver that will give me the same or better accuracy than a dedicated GPSr. Thanks.
  2. I agree, C:GEO for android is by far the best app i've found. and it's free! Very good for offline maps using Open Street Maps! and Google satellite view for when you have network coverage. Google don't allow the use of their maps offline so this is the next best thing. When you take caches offline you also get descriptions, attributes, waypoints, hints and the 25 last logs and photos.
  3. It's the 26th - 30th June... Can't wait
  4. Yeah i've looked that up now and it appears we can. I think we may have to get a bus each day into shepton mallet to pick them up. Was just hoping for an easier solution as i've never had to leave the festival grounds in the past.
  5. It's only a festival site for 5 days of the year, other times it's just a series of fields and country lanes. I wouldn't want them published specifically for the festival but if they happened to be there before the festival began that would be rather useful.
  6. Hi all, Hoping some fellow cachers can help! We are in the process of completing a 365 days of caching challenge. We have already secured tickets for Glastonbury 2013, however have now realised that during the 5 days of the festival we won't be able to find any caches. Are there any cachers that live near to the festival site that can create 5 new caches before the festival period? (26/6/13 - 30/6/1) Maybe in or around the site. I'm sure they'll be other geocachers at the festival that will be looking for caches as well. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks, NADJIM
  7. The audit log is only available if the cache is Premium Member Only, but your cache isn't set as PMO. Did you change this setting recently? I just tried making one of my caches PMO, and the audit log became available and was working. Yes I did change it recently, that must be why, thanks! Although maybe it would be useful for normal caches as well?
  8. I can no longer see who has viewed my cache, has this feature been removed with the update?
