  1. How about leaving an old GPS, with caches loaded into it...
  2. thanks, that is all I plan to do.
  3. My cache that was vandalized (Park in the Park), in my opinion, was in a bad location. Is it okay to move a cache to a different location, then update the coordinates?
  4. Am I the only one who is amazed that they left another container? Down our way, either someone simply leaves a rude note in the logbook, or else the whole thing just vanishes... Mike I don't know if they replaced the container. The one that was left was a non waterproof, clear, blue plastic pencil holder type thing. I might just replace it with a tupperware, so it isn't interesting.
  5. So I got an email that someone was having trouble finding my geocache. I decided to go look for it. It was there, but someone had changed the container from an ammo box to a smaller, blue plastic box, and left it in plane sight. I read the log book, to find a note saying "Lunchbox took this sh*t. N*gga. hail satan 666." I took it home, and temporarily disabled it. Has anyone else found a note in a muggled cache?
  6. or hiding it under the skirt, but I'm not sure if the skirt lifts on old style posts.
  7. There also is an old style lamp post. It is at a degree confluence, and I want a cache there, but I'm having trouble finding a good spot.
  8. OK, I also thought of putting up a birdhouse.
  9. I'm thinking of hiding a cache in a parkway. Is it a good idea to put flagstone around the bottom of a tree, and then hide a micro? My only place to hide it is a tree, with no big branches close to the ground. Thanks, mohrunits2
  10. Do people ever intentionally put caches at degree confluences? I was thinking of doing that.
  11. Today I found two used condoms and their wrappers, laying in a parking lot at a public park. Uggghhhhhh
  12. Has anyone had a travel bug just stop moving. I had one, but then I guy picked it up, logged it, and hasn't even been on the geocaching website ever since.
  13. Once I found a wet ones container filled up with rolled sticky notes. I also found a letterbox ( by accident ) while hiking.
  14. I went to a mystery cache. The last 2 stages were in a museum, which had a library. The container was a hollow book, like in movies.
  15. I went to a cache that had a bunch of space shuttle patches in it.
  16. Hello everyone. Where can I find those metal tags that multi cache coords are written on? Thank You.
