  1. I'm in the St. Louis area. Starting to get back into caching after taking years off.
  2. These look great and IMO would make great trackables.
  3. Put a Unite For Diabetes TB in a cache years ago only to have it stolen. Person that took it ended up deleting their account.
  4. So true. Usually takes a month for me to get stuff from China.
  5. Honestly I didn't know there was one this year. When 12 & 13 was announced I heard about them for months, but this one I heard nothing. Glad to see JoGPS was honored though. Very well deserved.
  6. Its been said countless times that if you have any sentimental value to a trackable you don't place it, because you're basically trusting something personal to strangers. Just like you don't give out your house key to some random person and not expect them to take something from your house.
  7. Don't think you can really. Tried a couple days ago and got no place.
  8. 7th grader. http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC5A6H0_hca Around here going into 7th usually happens between 12-13yo. So assuming he's just now going into 7th thus 12 that would be a violation of the TOS for the forum.
  9. Note to self: Get a friend with a 3D printer. lol
  10. Found these today in the mailbox. Won them in an online auction on Listia.
  11. My Pinterest My Instagram (Nothing Geocaching Related...yet)
  12. I'm remembering the same thing. Also your 2nd post happens to be yet another rant just that this time it's asking for CJ to apologize for something he has no reason to apologize for.
  13. Placed a TB(TB1BG3R) back in 2011 in my first and only find(so far)and was happy to see it was found 9 days later. Well long story short the user that found it logged it as a discovery and not a pick up, said user is no long active, and the cache has since be archived. Learned my lesson with that one. lol
  14. Had somebody take a bug I placed a few yew years ago, and logged it saying they will place it in another cache. Long story short they didn't log it properly, and are no longer active. So learned my lesson there.
  15. Had that problem with my Nokia Lumia 520 and ended up having to back up my contacts and pics and reset the phone.
  16. This also helps as well:
  17. I've read everything in this thread which that in itself is a miracle. lol I'll admit I have only one find and that find is a few years old. That's what I love about this game though. You can leave for a little while, come back to it, and it's still the same. Yeah there are more micro caches than before, but I see it as a way for people to be more involved in the game other than just finding. Now the subject of GS basically selling out by selling pencils and premium membership came up. Back when I started out 8 years ago they were already selling premiums, hats, and shirts. I see this as them not selling out but as a business strategy. In any business you go where the money is at and apparently the money is in accessories. With that said I will say this: Play the game the way you want to play it while still following the rules set by GS. Make your own fun and go out and explore(even if it is Row 6B of the shopping mall).
  18. This whole thread happens to be funny and confusing all at the same time.
  19. Anybody else having a problem opening the zip file on their computer? Have tried about 5 times and it won't open at all.
  20. What keeps it dry? Sub-zero temperatures. Ahh that explains it. I thought it was just magic.
  21. It's me outside of my old house. Nuff said lol
  22. That's fun. Thanks for sharing! That just gave me an idea for a cache if I can figure out how to build it. lol
  23. Well while we're asking GC questions in here I'll ask mine. Is there a way to update the logs on a cache I have installed on there?
