I use Chrome as well as Safari.

Perfect! Just what I needed--thanks.

I realized that this is for caches that have not yet been found. What I want is a way to show all caches in a county that I have not found, regardless of date placed. Not those where I would be FTF. Sorry for the unclear way I asked about this.

Until a week ago, the only problem I had with Safari was deleting found caches from one of my lists. The map and new list issues just started.

Anyone having issue with geocaching.com using Safari? When I try "View Browse Map", the map itself is blank. I tried to create a new list I get the message: " We had trouble loading your Lists. Please try again by refreshing the page." I don't have any problem using Chrome. Thanks.

That's great! Thanks so much!

I am a paying member of that, but can’t find a way to do that. Can you explain how to get that? Thanks.

Is there a way to get a list unfound caches by county instead of the whole state?
-
Well, I found out how to find a cache with a negative attribute. Of all the PQs I've run, I never really noticed or paid attention to the two attribute sections below the Placed During section. I'll I had to do was double click the tourist icon (a suitcase) and that brings up "Not tourist friendly" caches. The closest one was only 138 miles away.........but I got it and was able to log the local mystery cache.

Replacement O-rings for bison tubes
GrateBear replied to Forest-Ghost's topic in General geocaching topics
Prtobably Ace Hardware if you have one nearby. They seem to have everything (except lumber). -
Have a TB that I've never released, but just used it to track my finds. I'd like to finally let it go, but want to delete it's travel history. Is there a way to bulk delete all visits?

Alaska Glaciers - are any of them earthcaches?
GrateBear replied to JesusGirl0504's topic in General geocaching topics
There are 10 (that I see) in Glacier Bay Natl Park. Also a couple of virtuals. All depends on where your ship goes. I was really surprised on the way out that the ship got close enough to get GC5DJC5, Marble Islands. Use that and run a filtered PQ. -
Have a mystery cache that requires finding caches that have the 41 negative attributes (not all 41 in one cache). The only one I'm missing is "NOT Recommended for tourists". I tried searching using the filters, but this one is not in that list. Is there a macro or a way that will find that? Thanks.

No, the 5/8" is the inside measurement.

I'm looking for bison tubes that are less than 1/2 inch wide. Bought some on Amazon that were listed at 7/20" wide, but are actually 5/8" wide. Anyone know a source where I can get what I need". Thanks.

Yesterday it was not working at all. Today, I did two routes, and while the cache list shows 5 caches, the map view shows about 30. A slow fix?
-
I’ll try that. Hope it works Safari and Chrome. Thanks.

Ok, that’s what I thought. Seems I just did not scroll down far enough. I thought they would be in the order originally posted. Thanks again!

Thanks! I’ve been looking for that with no luck. Where are the release notes? You would think having been a member since 2006 I would know that……

On the app, I see the county lines if zoomed in enough, but don’t see the county name. Is there a way to show the name? Also, on the website, I don’t see any county lines at all. Are they only visible using the app? This is a nice feature, but in the app, they should be as visible as the state lines, no matter how far out you zoom

Yes, that is sad to see. I was awarded one the last time and put a lot of thought into it before setting it up. Too bad the unused ones can’t be re-rewarded. Such a great opportunity to pass up. Thanks for the info.

What is the deadline for placing the awarded 2022 virtual caches? I thought I saw it was March 2023, but can’t find the info now. Thanks.

Thanks for the input. I'll have to take a look at one before I decide what to do.

Good questions. I’ve been doing 500–600 caches per year, and load 1000 at a time. I’ll do caches along a route when traveling. I way underutilize the features of the 700–I’m not very tech savvy. I really enjoyed using the 450. I started with a Legend CX which suited me just fine. When placing a cache, I use the 450, as I can’t figure out the 700. If I’d seen how to fix the on/off 450 button earlier, I would not have bought the 700. Appreciate your input.

Looking for input on this unit. I currently have an Oregon 450 and Oregon 700. I bought the 700 when the on/off button on the 450 failed (but later found an easy way to fix that). I use the 700 most of the time, but am getting increasingly frustrated with it. Today I was geocaching and the 700 turned itself off. When I restarted it, said I had to register it. So, thinking about getting the eTrex. Looking for pros and cons. Thanks.
