  1. Thank you for the response. So the Montana is as good as a GPSr can get for paperless? And the phone will have more info.. that is what I am gathering.... I know that unit is capable of gpx, but for geocaching, I am not sure. Is there anyone that has the Montana and knows if it will handle all the data? One more question about the Montana to clarify. If I have a premium membership, I can mark the caches on the unit as found, and add notes? Thank you, Adrian
  2. Hello everyone. I am new to GeoCaching. I have not yet started finding caches. I have three choices of devices... A Garmin Montana 650, a Garmin GPSMap 60Csx, and my Samsung phone. I use the Garmin GPSr on my ATV. I don't think I "need" the phone, but does the phone app offer up more info than the GPSr? Would it be beneficial to use both? Obviously, I would rather use one of the garmin devices to get more/better fun use out of it. I loaded a couple of cache hides on the 60Csx. The amount of info was very thin. There was only a short description and no hints. Also, the name of the cache was not on the selection screen. I loaded one on my Montana. The cache name is on the list, but there is no information. Do you get more information if you are a premium member? Also, is there a way to load a lot of caches at once? Thank you, Adrian
  3. Wow. What a great idea. Stealing for profit. I doubt it catches on.
