You must be a Super Geocacher. I’m not certain that TPTB have recognized this class of cachers yet, but this topic provides a basis for this classification. Of course I am also deserving of this distinction.

I found the cache on 3/21/2023.
The question of why the placed date was changed was asked in a log on 9/9/2023 by Ge0TwoFl and was not answered by the CO. The CO did not answer.

There may be other Canadian locations that officially described their relationship to geocaching and go up against Wilburforce and their claim. This sign was outside Wallace, Nova Scotia in 2018.

Some areas have great public transportation, some don't. What does your area have? Cache varies greatly too so walking or biking may work.

Antarctica! Can you see the green? I am a bit jealous. But I am glad some are able to get that southernmost continent. Congrats.

Not sure of that but there were some traveling caches that were designed to be found multiple times. Each time it was at a new location so it was considered a new find and was permitted. Not now.
The cache I’m referring to was ABC’s, GCCD54.

Looks like 6 of these are NOT premium so a high percentage of newer caches may have that designation.

A week is not unusual. Be patient.

Another way to move TBs along is to take them to an event and offer them to the attendees. This can sometimes be done on your travels if you can scope out your route for events. Another possibility is to host an event while you are traveling.

I love it too. Easier than using a paper map but there is still value there too.

I have also solved puzzles that required numbers from signs or other info (e.g. how many outbuildings) by using Google earth. But then I had to use those numbers for coordinates and go to the location in order to sign the log.

I was recently on my first cruise and it was a Western Caribbean cruise to Mexico, Belize, & Honduras. I found caches in each of those countries. Whoopee!

I have a series of caches that I call my ‘House Series”. The only thing they have in common is the word “house” in the name.

My favorite this year was GC93, Indiana’s First. Placed Oct 2000 so it is an old one so it filled a spot on my ‘placed date’ calendar. I attended an event there put on by 3 British cachers so I got to meet cachers while there. And it was my 9000th cache. Loved it.

Birdhouse Geocache and City Permissions
in How do I...?

I have several bird house caches in parks in my community. In one case I contacted the township supervisor because they have a park but no parks department. In the other case I contacted the Parks & Recreation department. They gave permission and later asked me to put on a Geocaching 101 class.
In both cases they want people using the parks and welcomed the geocaches.
