Another neat feature of the Csx is sight'n go, this allows you to shoot a point with the compass, estimate the distance, and it will give you a waypoint to navigate to. I use a lot when I'm out playing around in the desert and see some interesting thing off in the distance that I want to go check out. I just used it the other day to find an abandoned mine that my buddy was leading me around in circles looking for, we could see where we wanted to be from a hill top, but once we were down in the washes, he couldn't find his way back to it. Once I had a waypoint on my topo map, it was real easy to find a good trail to it.
