  1. I couldn't remember this discussion on the forum until today. NordVPN indeed appears to be the cause and a reset is also the solution. I'm afraid I'm getting old very quickly Anyway, thank you very much for reminding me of this solution.
  2. I've been having a strange problem for some time now. When I want to log a geocache and press the button 'Log Geocache' nothing happens. This happens under Windows 10 not only in Chrome but also in other browsers. I also have the same with, for example, logging a trackable. Most other buttons and links work great. Deleting the history or cookies etcetera and even resetting the browser do not have the desired result. Who recognizes these problems and can help me?
  3. Glad to read I'm not the only one with similar issues. I don't pay much attention to it anymore. If it happens again in the future, I hope I remember this incident and solution and perhaps others will benefit from this incident . Thanks everyone for their comments.
  4. Arisoft thanks for your comment. It is indeed very strange, especially since I have been using NordVPN for several years. But the fact is that shutting down NordVPN and eventually resetting this app did the trick. As for your question, I've tried this before and only resulted in a blank page. Since everything is now back to normal, I can no longer simulate this. In my opinion NordVPN was the cause, but how and why? Maybe I should bring this up to them.
  5. In the meantime I think I have found the cause and solution: I use NordVPN on Windows and discovered that when it was deactivated everything functioned normally. After resetting this app, everything appears to function properly for the time being. As far as I'm concerned, this case can be closed, but I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks Arisoft for your comments!
  6. I'm using Chrome and get a similar link on the bottom left side of the screen when I hover my mouse over the green "Log Geocache" button.
  7. Thanks for your reply. I've done what you suggested, but in that case I immediately see the desired log screen. The same screen that doesn't appear when I click the 'Log geocache' button.
  8. Hello, For more than a week now, a strange problem has been occurring on the Geocaching.com website. Fortunately, most options that I can click on work well, but a few refuse, such as the button 'Log geocache' and the trackable option 'Found? Write a log!'. There may be a few more, but these are the ones I use the most and they don't work. This problem occurs under the most recent Windows 10 version and with different browsers such as Chrome (standard), Edge and Firefox and a page refresh does not offer a solution. I have no similar problems with other websites and therefore suspect that the cause must be sought on the Geocaching.com website. In any case, I can't figure it out and after an intensive search on the internet I can't find a solution. Who can help me further? Thanks in advance. With kind regards, Disgeover
  9. I've had email contact with Geocaching HQ, but I'm very disappointed with their response: don't get a (clear) answer to my questions and it seems they don't care either. I expected more, but alas. Adventure Labs and now also the contact with HQ: I'm done with it.
  10. For reach the peak they even stated in the very first month that each location will give you a find/points?? (see above) This is what I found on https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2021/07/new-leaderboard-challenge-reach-the-peak/: Also my Geocaching app (Reach the Peak) is talking about caches and not locations. All very strange!!?? I'm glad when finding a multi the stages aren't counted as found caches. I think correct numbers and statistics are important (at least for me) and that's why I go to inform Geocaching and await their response. Thanks for the comments and advice, but I'm done with Adventure Lab caches for now.
  11. Thanks for the quick response and link. It is very unfortunate that this problem has been going on for a long time and has not been solved. Is this known to Geocaching headquarters? If not, I'll consider informing them and will at least delete all the logs of both Adventures to get an accurate and real number of caches found No more Adventures Lab caches for me for now unfortunately! The idea is good but the execution is bad. If I'd known I wouldn't have started it.
  12. After completing two Adventure Lab caches with about 9 locations, it seems that these separate locations are counted as found caches. I come to this conclusion after increasing the score for the 'Reach the Peak' challenge too quickly and a difference between the caches found according to Geocaching and the actual number. On the Geocaching site there are 9 caches more than I actually found. Known problem?
  13. Thanks for the response. With Ctrl-P it is possible to get the coordinates printed, but then everything is printed. I then have to make a selection, e.g. without the part with the logs. But I did not have this problem before. As I said, I have tried it on different systems and with different browsers. I think the cause and solution must be found at the website of Geocaching.com. The Ctrl-P option is a workaround, but not the solution.
  14. Coordinates, under 'Additional waypoints' (Multi caches) are no longer printed with the 'Print / No logs' command: see example XXX-2. Until recently, the coordinates appeared on paper: see example XXX-1. I've tested it with various browsers (history and cookies deleted) and on various PCs: Windows 10 and recent versions of Chrome, Edge and Opera. All the same problem. The search for the different waypoints is no longer possible for me, since I can only do the multi caches with a description on paper. Any idea how this comes and more importantly ... how it can be solved?
