  1. I would love to see the ability to have a notification email sent to two different email addresses (two different blocks on the notification set-up page so you can enter two different email addresses) and to be able to "Copy" a notification so that if I set them up for a new area, I could just hit copy and then change the cache type. Now I know that I can just create a new identical notification and use a different email but when you have several set up this can be very time consuming. It just seems very time consuming to create a notification for each cache type and then for each email address for each area you are watching. Just a curiousity question I guess.
  2. Just applied for my GMRS license today! Thanks for bringing up this subject. I had no idea I had been in violation!
  3. I used the web updater and reloaded but had the same problems. I tried downloading the firmware update seperate (outside the web updater) and can't open it with my computer- get an invalid something win32 error.
  4. I lost mine and now when I load new ones in - within 3 times of turning it on I start getting fatal errors. I turn it on and then the screen fades out and it shuts off. It keeps doing it until I do a master reset (Power + page + enter). Then it works fine. I loaded a few caches by "marking" and it worked ok but I really do not want to load 800 caches that way!!
  5. I guess I carry way more than I need. My pack: First Aid Kit, GPSr, Leatherman, PDA, Knife, Snake Bite Kit (I hate Snakes!!), Rain Poncho, Mini-LED Flashlight, Map, Full Size LED Flashlight, Whistle, Cell, Water or Gatorade (want to Carry my .45 but Gun Laws are strict in MD)
  6. I was just highlighting the parts of the cache page I wanted and then go to file and print, when the print box comes up change the box on the left side to say "Selection". Then you can do whatever you need to, to print the map. I have also gone paperless with an Ipaq 1910 that I bought off here in the Garage Sale Forum.
  7. There is one down in Southern MD that not only requires Night Caching but the use of NVG (night vision goggles). I personally haven't tried it yet (no NVG's) but hope in the future to get to it. It is temporarily disabled as a critter has been chewing the wiring for the cache marker. The cache I speak of.
  8. Problem is that mine will not even grab when I screw it in. It is like the thread do not grab. I called it in an supposedly they are sending a new one, in the mean time I slowly drilled out the backside to make the scre sink in deeper. This worked for a day or so then popped out again and will not screw in again, have resorted to using a rubberband to hold it in.....
  9. This is also about the cable for the Explorist 210, has anybody had problems getting it to connect right? I mean it is like the screw is too short and the threads do not grab??
