  1. If this is really about the "Dogs and Bitches" cache, you are overreacting. I didn't know it was the correct term for a female dog, but as a kayaker I do know the Bitches. I think it's a well chosen name. Would you like to have that name changed on the maps, too? No, that one is fine. This one is degrading, disgusting, and nowhere close to appropriate for a family friendly game.
  2. Here is one at some random cache I found near a field. To see more like this, you can go here:
  3. Well, I found Mingo, grabbed a few trackables, and managed to nab six other finds. I had a lot of fun meeting fellow Geocachers and attending the Mingo event. You can see a video of my excursion here:
  4. Thanks guys. I just didn't know. The name is sexually inappropriate in nature, so I plan on reporting it to Groundspeak.
  5. I know this is a little off-topic, so please forgive me, but what about Geocachers who have inappropriate names? How is that handled?
  6. Today's XKCD strip is weirdly prescient of this: A little late, but, that is awesome! I love XKCD. Randall is a genius. Now, back on topic. I found some dried out sharpies yesterday, moldy gum, and some time ago a used tampon applicator. In a residential cache. I washed up a lot after fixing that one.
  7. Well, the second I'm going to prom with my muggle friend and then on Sunday we're driving out to attend the Mingo event.
  8. There are of the virtual kind.
  9. When your Senior Trip is planned around finding at least five caches. When you spend 20+ dollars on gas just to rectify a DNF. When every person who is parked in a cemetery becomes a Geocacher. When you get excited for a day without school, not because you can sleep in, but so you can find some caches. When you go grocery shopping with your cousins just to find one measly LPC. When every show you love can be turned into a cache series.
  10. Is that perhaps a picture of Kirito as your profile image?
  11. I am eighteen and have been Geocaching since just after my fifteenth birthday. I love anime, long hikes with extreme terrain, skiing, creating cool Geocache hides, and of course freaking Geocaching!
  12. First off, I'm aware that this is unorthodox and against the way some people play with trackables, but I know others like this idea so I'm just going to throw this out there. On May 6th I am leaving to go on my senior trip to Florida, and while there we are going to Disney World. I know some people have trackables whose goal is to make it to Disney World and I could help you meet that goal if you like. I am an experienced cacher who will take extra care of any TBs or Geocoins I am given. Again, I know that some people see this as cheating, but I'm just offering to do this.
  13. What's it like to have people at events that are your age?
  14. Man it really does sound like you had a busy day. I would have loved to attend an event, but none were available to me and I am out of solved puzzles in my immediate area. By the way, I just uploaded a video to YouTube for my Comicon shenanigans. You can watch it here:
  15. That police box dress. Just awesome! I know, I love it! Apparently other people do as well because I saw at least ten girls wearing the exact same dress.
  16. My way of celebrating Pi Day was quite unCONventional. My friends and I left my house at 6:00 in the morning, stopped for breakfast, and attended Comic Con in Kansas City, Missouri. Afterwards, we ate at Pizza Street (Made famous by a comedy YouTube series) and capped off the day by finding a micro Geocache on our way home. It was a fantastic way to celebrate not only Pi Day, but also the first day of spring break as well.
  17. Guess what!! The school newsletter and calendar had the date for prom wrong. It's Saturday, not Sunday! Guess who's going to Mingo!
  18. I compiled all of my new caches into a video. They have been posted here already, but I didn't know if anyone might like to see them all at once with a bit of music added in.
  19. The event is taking place from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. Just tell your prom date, "Could you pick me up a little early, there's someplace I want to stop on the way to the prom." How could you pass up the opportunity to attend a geocaching event in a prom dress? What he said. Take the obligatory prom limo by! Haha! Since he lives so far away we've never gone caching together and he refuses to do it on his own. Perhaps this could be a crash course… Be on your best behavior everyone!
  20. Thank you so much for the advice, but I had it taken care of. Carly from Groundspeak is to thank for that.
  21. While in Colorado, a multicache I found took me to the base of a pine tree and the cache size was listed as micro. I groaned because there could be a million places it was at, but it turns out it was a small hollowed out log on the ground by the tree.
  22. Now there's a positive post! I like mine better though,
