Yeah at one of my caches i was building a dam and these two cachers came up and sort of gave me a gio away look so i asked them if they were cachers and they were haha.

I look at the hint every time i go for a cache, before i get down to the searching. I do this because it makes searching time quicker, and makes me less suspicious to nearby muggles. Also i can be clumsy, and if i know where the cache is, i can go straight to it without stepping on to much vegetation. However if you dont want to look at the hint dont, just play the game the way you want to play it.

The SE caching lot are doing a trip there soon which is a shame i think they were hoping for 2TF Well done to the 2TFERS nonetheless.

I always look at the description to find parking and trail entrances and so on. An exception would be say a circular walk of 10+ caches that ill do in a day, i wouldn't read all the descriptions.

I tend not to cache whilst its raining and i usually leave about 3 days after its rained heavily, unless its sunny warm weather the next day to let the area and cache dry out a bit.

Dont like micros that seem pointless then just dont hunt for them. Beleive it or not other people in the game like to hunt for anything and dont mind if there is nothing spectacular to see there. I cache for the thrill of the hunt and to get a bit of exercise, not to see a magical location at every single cache.

You did the right thing. Even if a cache was the first ever geocache doesnt mean it should still be active today if it has alot of issues.

I dont write much in the paper log but write as much as i can on the online log. If the cache is generic. my log is only a few lines, but its better than "40/56 today!!! TFTC"

I have to agree there. I was enjoying the sunshine whilst eating lunch on Saturday and a smoker comes and sits on the bench next to me and lights up. Smoke all you want, just not while im bloody eating! On topic, ive never seen dog poo in a bag hanging around in a bush or hedge, but then again im just short of 130 caches found...
