Thanks all. Im glad I somehow managed to get it right (no thanks to the GC interface) Is it just me?

So, I have read the help files. I have a Geocoin which I picked up. It has a number on it. I went to the inventory list of the cache, found the coin on the list. I went to the coins home page and the first line of the page said "Use TB****** to reference this item" (asterisks are mine). This "TB******" number is not the number on the coin. Ignoring that, I went to the "log it" page and entered the number that was on the coin. The coin appears in my inventory and in my logs. what is the "Use TB****** to reference this item" for and why is it there? Did I do it wrong? This is waaay more confusing/too many steps than I thought...why? I think I will leave trackables alone from now on. There should be a "I found a trackable" and a " I placed a trackable" button somewhere on the home page...you go there, enter the tracking number, the cache number and thats it...thats what computers are for...none of this 7 step procedure, it just sucked all of the fun out of it. And I Still dont know if I did it right.

So, did you go find it?- the one you needed the hint for? I honestly dont remember which one used it. It was a word that I didnt understand (like booger) so it stuck in my mind as a question to find the answer to. I searched and found several instances of it being used on this site. I didnt know it was an encryption. I wasnt asking for the answer to a hint, really I just wanted to know what the word meant. I feel a little silly now, but it wont stop me from asking. And yes, I had to google booger, and if I didnt find it, I would have asked here.

AHA! I must have installed GC Lil helper in chrome when I signed up, silly example of installing software before you know you need it! So yes, each user has an envelope icon and a VIP (or friend) icon, if I click on the VIP icon, it turns green and that user is added to my "VIP List" that shows up on the right hand side of all my pages. Thanks for clueing me in. DOH!

No...I cannot figure out how to copy and paste into the forum, but it is a little rectangle with the letters VIP inside. Black letters and border, white bkgd. Next to the envelope icon for email. EDIT... Here is the URL...hopefully you will see them , scroll down to the logs

Thanks for clearing that up. I wasnt asking for the answer to a puzzle or hint, sorry for my lack of clarity. I was asking for the definition of what, to me, seemed like a commonly used and understood anagram or term of art ( I searched the site and found many instances of the same word). My fault for not understanding the fact that it was a method of encryption rather than a caching term. We just started last week, and are sure to make many mistakes, thanks for your patience. Thanks for being quick to point out the rules.
