  1. It will take quite a group of friends to amass a gathering of 500 attendees on a weekday. Good luck.

    Web logs

I see no way to read any comments by any prior completers of an adventure, nor any star rating.
  3. I suggest that the GC app is using the extra location signals, which causes the jumping you experience. Your old app likely uses only gps signal. I have witnessed the same with several different catchers & android phones. Setting their app to use only GPS signal stopped the jumping around, especially in areas where phone signal is marginal.
  4. Maybe you will provide a camera for finders? My GPS does not have a camera function.
  5. Welcome to the obsession. Use a Write Note for those times you "find but can't sign".
  6. If he sent the answers, even if they were copied from another, you don't have a defensible position to delete his log. Your suspicion about his not visiting on that date may be correct, but not really provable. You have told everyone here your thoughts of his caching character and more. Maybe it would be best to just let it go.
  7. 2k finds, Police - 3 times County Sheriff - 5 times State Police - 1 time Federal Game Warden - 1 time Most of these we're at night, or maybe I look overly suspicious.
  8. Provided they have only one account. Some people have a main account for finds, and another for hides. @idocdlw - some of the phone apps and GSAK are ways that don't trigger a website visit.
  9. Check for goecaching groups on that book of faces. Also, remember that there are a few ways to check the website that do not reflect on when a person was "last active".
  10. Why not start a new account called something like syphur20xx for your son and log his finds to that account? Later, he can see all his finds from early days then take over that account when he gets old enough.
  11. Problem here also. 500 Error. Somebody get those hamsters some chow!
  12. Thank you for coming back to acknowledge that you read the attempts to assist you. So many will ask a question, then never reply.
  13. If the link you have on a cache page is to Facebook, someone would be required to give personal information to log onto that site. As you know, here are countless other examples of websites that require a person to create an account (give personal information) to view content.
  14. Yes, this part is what I remembered. "Website registration A cache page that requires one or more of the following will generally not be published: Create an account with another website. Provide personal information to another website (excluding email address and username)."
  15. Can we add to the Coming Soon List the ability of sticky pagination on list sorting order?
  16. A search on Amazon should give the shop where I bought boxes of 30 for $20.
  17. I seem to remember that you are NOT allowed to link to a websote that requires a membership or sign in. Link to a photo hosting site or YouTube video, Ok; link to a site that I am forced to join, NOT ok.

Please add a screenshot of what is mot working for you. Also add your OS and browser versions, so this issue can be investigated by the developers. Your inane comments help no one to help you solve the issue you claim to experience. Kind Regards
  19. Add photos, as the trackable owner requested. Forget the idea of videos, which don't work on GPS, or on apps saved for offline use.
  20. Your option is to place a new cache at that location. The archived cache is gone and cannot be reinstated.
  21. No issue when clicking "david&diana" name. They are Charter Members, so I'd expect their name to work, having been in the system for so long. Maybe their "&" symbol is one originally accepted by the Forum software?
  22. When I click the Windstorm+ name block in this thread I get a 404 error. When I click the @windstorm+ block in your post, I get a 404 error. I'm not sure what was fixed.
  23. I wonder how far off the river, in the wide area of the park your Wherigo final could be? There are only a few trees to look near, unless this one is hidden in a different manner that your other geocaches. Anyone with over 10k finds has a pretty good ability to sus out a hiding place for a geocache, especially when they get a read on how someone usually hides theirs. Just get over the fact that you can't prevent any member from finding and logging your hides. How they do it is up to them. How they tell the story of how they did it is also up to them. Enjoy the fact that someone is finding your hides, instead of being upset that they didn't find it the way you want them to.
  24. I know a cacher who has over 3200 finds, and doesn't have a smartphone nor a GPS. She looks at the map, and finds a cache. On your example, I would go to the school (and if schools there are like here, I'd have to wait until after 5pm) and park in the schoolbus pick up circle. Starting from the south end of it, I'd choose a bearing of about 94 degrees then walk about 210 feet. That should put me very close to a large tree. Easy Peasy. The big question for me would be how you got a cache published in the back yard of a school.
  25. And call out the Reviewer that sanctioned the throwdown as well. That action flies in the face of what we have been told a Reviewer should do.
