  1. I too have had some great luck with being able to scratch three coins off my list. Updating again... Geogem 2008 Citrine (my daughters birthstone and year) Geocoinfest 2012 Gold pan Forty n Eight's 2006 & 2008 Washington Quarters Cache of the day Rainbow Trout Windrose Geocoin (not sure if the name is correct but its a dream catcher)
  2. As far as the being given away for "noteworthy accomplishments" part, you could say that the city/state/county's that have their own caches placed and give away coins to cachers after finding x amount of caches fall under that in a way.
  3. Just adding mine for fun... Im not sure how hard my top five are to find since I've only started collecting. No particular order: Official Smokey the Bear geocoin MOGA 2009 pistol & holster Any of Forty n Eight's Washington Quarters Geocoinfest 2012 gold pan And any Washington State themed coins Fun to read what everyone else is looking for and learning about some new coins by reading these posts
  4. Voted and good luck! Im glad to help just knowing that if Sundance wins you'll be donating the prize to a much needed cause!
  5. There's a first time for everything... Will give me more of a reason to follow along with the die hards over here during this time of year at least lol Sooo... that being said I limped in with randomness
  6. Real quick.... adopting a coin from someone else is no hassle... just did one this morning from logdawgs... got an email, clicked a link then another button and "poof" donezo Super easy
  7. Trekked out to the mailbox in the rain and found a bubble mailer! Ran back to the house and opened our goodies with mini Brader. Love the coin and "extra" that came with! My first time having a "set" like this! We love the coin and cant wait to add it to our coin nook! Thank you so much again!
  8. This is so nice of you! Thank you for the cointest and a chance to hear others Valentines story's
  9. So we have a 4yr old daughter and our Valentines day usually revolves around her. We have been taking turns doing either a Mommy daughter VDay outing or a Daddy daughter VDay outing. This year is Daddys turn and they are starting out with our tradition of a Build a Bear, followed by lunch at her choice (which happenes to be Chuck E Cheese this year LOL good luck Dad) and a present. We asked her what she wanted and she said jewelry like Mommy So we found a pair of cutie hoop cz earrings that Dad will be giving her so she can "have diamonds like Mommy" No chocolate as it hits her like a darn head on collision.... All this will be taking place while I, Mommy, enjoy some quietness at home accompanied by a glass or two of wine while cleaning. Yay me Happy V Day everyone!
  10. I would like in too please Nice coin! Happy New Year!
  11. Thanks for the cointest and congrats to the winner! My first time entering into one and had a blast watching the final tally keep climbing
  12. Otterbox makes great phone cases that are pretty rugged and have, in my opinion, saved my phone from being ruined by the hands of my 4yr old... also I have a battery plug in that will charge my phone with out a wall or car connection up to two times... cost around thirty dollars but works great for times when ive been low on battery. I would suggest a parental consent before taking the girl scouts out using their own phones and maybe instead of downloading the apps for actual caching a simple compass app that you can input coords into. That way they can follow along and pair up instead of having a whole troop glued to their phone. Sounds like a fun and hope it works out getting them involved in a great sport!
  13. 295 am and wtg for passing your goal! Hope it keeps climbing!
