Vandaag werden 2 van mijn caches ge-need maintenance'd voor dit. Eentje heeft inderdaad nooit toestemming moeten hebben voor ANB, dus voor deze heb ik geen moeite, en zal hiervoor alsnog de nodige stappen ondernemen. Voor de 2e heb ik echter destijds al toestemming moeten vragen, en dat werd toen ook gegeven. En toch staat deze nu als need maintenance? Ik veronderstel dat reviewers wel in archived reviewer notes kunnen zien? Ik heb (gelukkig) de mail nog waarin me toestemming werd gegeven, maar het lijkt me dubbel werk voor reviewer als voor cache owner om dit weer helemaal op te klaren. Worden er trouwens verschillen gemaakt in cache types? Mn traditional die in een ANB gebied ligt staat op need maintenance, maar een multi die in datzelfde gebied er passeerd/eindigd niet ?!

Maar allez.. Daarnet ook nog zo een geval gelezen, maar dan in het buitenland. Daar werd een ammo can gevonden, en omdat het een militaire look had werd er zowat alles bij elkaar geroepen om het te doen ontploffen. Ben ik nu echt de enige die denkt dat dit allemaal wat overdreven is?

All of my current hides (55 (34 are not published yet)) are public. I used to have 1 PMO cache. It was hidden at the base of a tree, with a normal bird house attached to the tree (at about 2m height - already present when I placed the cache). I posted on the cache listing in big red not to tamper with the bird house, since that was not the cache. well, I found the birdhouse damaged for multiple times, it even got stolen once. so in my experience, having a PMO cache does not guarantee undamaged or uncovered caches, atleast not in my neighbourhood. I have replaced containers multiple times, and will have to in the future, but that comes with being a CO.

Ok, thanks for your replies. Since I suspected a multi would hit this traditional within the limit, I submitted it for review. Appears I was right, I need to move the cache. :/ On the other hand, the "problem" is gone.

Hi everyone, Before i read someone say "search the forums": i already did, but most similar topics are slightly different. The story: I was hiding some caches yesterday in my neighbourhood, and when we were cleaning up (put our tools in the car etc) a group of people came out of nowhere and passed us by. Later on the evening, i received a log find on another one of my (already published) caches. When reading the log, they tell the story of seeing some people around with tools, gps, etc, but they continue to the other cache they were currently on. On their way back, they decide to take a look around, and they found my unpublished cache, and claimed ftf and stf. My question; are there unwritten rules on this? What is common? I could consider this as a valid log, but what about ftf? The first find after publication will also want to claim ftf.( and stf) Should they atleast asked us what we were up to?
