  1. Premium members can change their name, if you are going to be a Geocaching addict, uprgrade to Premium membership then you can change your name and keep your finds!
  2. I believe my one day record is ^40's in Gatlinburg, TN. In Nashville we found many caches but only 30+ in one day, we were there for over 3 days so we spread it out. If I recall correctly, the one day record was set in Nashville. I can see why, there is a cache every .10 mile. I love it!
  3. Thanks everyone for the input, I appreciate it. I have a few more cache pages which I have put picture, etc. on them. I made one for rangerroad also. Check these out! A Tribute to American Heroes The Water Wheel Cache at Fishpond Co-Op Shop RC and Moon Pie (by rangerroad) I plan to "spruce" up all my cache pages eventually.
  4. If you dont like Micros, DONT HUNT THEM! Nobody makes you hunt the Micros, you chose to/ not hunt them on your own! There are only so many hiding spots for a tupperware container or a Ammo Can, I dont know about you but a Ammo Can under a light pole isnt going to work very well, aye?
  5. Well, I accidentally posted this topic a while ago mistakenly under rangerroads acccount since he was logged in. But here we go........ I have been trying recently to (spruce) up my cache pages. Instead of a boring plain page, I have tried to incorporate pictures and a background image. Check out my two newest pages! Joseph B. Sumpter Walkway RFK in EKY My pages are by far no masterpieces but I would like to see some of your work! How many of you get creative on your cache pages? Show some of your work
  6. I have an idea for a new category, how about Kentucky Historical Markers? These signs can be found all over the state of Kentucky! Each with a unique fact of its own! I think this would be a great category, what do you think? A list of Kentucky's Historical Markers by County
  7. I think as long as the user logs coordinates anywhere inside of the crater it would work! If possible a visitors center or even the dead center of the Crater but if not and with good reason anywhere inside the Crater! We could make this work!
  8. You know, Im not quiet sure about this question. You would think the center of the Crater is more practical but in some cases, that may not be possible! I would say the Center if possible if not the rim of the Crater! What is everyone elses' opinion?
  9. Im sure someone has probably suggested Tunnels as a Waymark! I know that Tunnels are not very rare and can be found nearly everywhere! I think that if a Tunnels Waymark were added it would nead to have specific requirements, ex. A minimum length, or exceptions for the location (underwater) or other spectacular thing! Please give me your input about this waymark, I think it would be a great category to add!
  10. Thanks for the Input, the one Large Crate I know of is actually a city built in the Crater! Middlesboro, KY which is in Bell County in Cumberland Gap National Historical Park! Geologists believe that the Middlesboro basin between Pine Mountain and the Cumberland Mountains is the remains of an ancient meteor crater, which would give the town the rare distinction of being one of the few cities in the world completely built inside a crater. The crater is one of three known astroblemes in the state. I think as long as there is Scientific Evidence of a Crater, it can be logged! Most craters are on the internet anyways, so they may have a related webpage about them! Above: The Middlesboro Crater Basin!
  11. It would be neat to have a category for Craters! Craters are somewhat rare but I know of 1 large one near home! I think this would be a neat category to log Craters of the World!
  12. I dont know if everyone is familar with Coke Ovens, if not, a Coke Oven is an industrial process which converts coal into coke, one of the basic materials used in blast furnaces for the conversion of iron ore into iron! I know these are rare structures, since most were built with stone and cement, most are eroding away! I think this would be a cool category for Waymarking! Coke Oven

I will move it!
  14. Im not sure if they are still taking proposals for categories but I thought it would be neat to have a category for Craters! Craters are somewhat rare but I know of 1 large one near home! I think this would be a neat category! Sorry, Wrong forum, I will close and move it!
  15. Is it a micro? My first guess is "If you don't like little micros then don't hunt this cache." But it's just a guess. Yeah what they said!
  16. Im thinking about placing an Easter theme cache out for this weekend! i Guess I better hurry before its too late!
  17. Poison or no posion, venom or no venom I dont want anything to do with any snakes. Although I once found a cache that had a few "jokes" around it. There were snakes, and spiders, it wasnt hard to tell that these were fake but I have seen real snakes before within inches of the cache, and that was quiet scary.
  18. Gas has went up to $2.79 for 1 gallon of Regular Unleaded here. Prices have risen nearly $0.30 in the last 2 1/2 weeks.
  19. I say give it some time, eventually we may get to see the size and type of the cache. This is a very ingenious idea indeed.
  20. What is wrong with the world today? People do crazy stuff! Thank God, I have never had an experience quiet like what the OP of this topic has ran into.
  21. I dont really care what size cache I am looking for as long as I can find it. To me it doesnt matter if its a 5 gallon bucket or a nano cache. I say, the smaller the better, the bigger the better. A cache is a cache in my book.
