  1. Just found this discussion, I had problems too & thought it was my computer. It's loading a little quicker now. Like others I liked it the way it was. I don't have time to spend waiting for it too load. We all have a life outside Geocaching. [] (dont know how to put smiley smirk on here).
  2. Good, what else... You must have other likes. I've thought of something else I like. Finding TB's is great and sending them on as soon as we can. They sit on the shelf looking at us and bugging us, making us go out and do another cache soon. :-)
  3. I know the clue is encrypted, I'm not daft. :-) I thought this was just our opinions without dissecting what we say. Come on Happy Humphrey, stick to the agenda. Tell us your likes as well as your dislikes. :-)
  4. New to this forum, but definitely got a view to what we like and don't like. Amberel's got it to a t but here's some of ours; Like a few others my hubby & I like a nice walk with lovely surroundings; nice view is great but not essential: we love clues but not give away's: happy enough without a clue, which is what happens on the easy ones: we really like to find them and don't like to give up: we like multi's and have recently done 3: And love it when its something very different to the norm. We don't like; caches hidden in thick brambles or hordes of nettles: left dangled in a tree or bush that can easily fall off in the wind or knocked of by someone looking, then can't be found when you've travelled miles to get there. That's it for me [:-)]
  5. Thanks MrsB Just shows how how gullible I can be. Lucky you told me, as far from meeting other Geocachers we'd probably scare them off and get arrested :-) (sorry don't know how to get the yellow smilies that everyone else is using on here). I woudn't have really done it but it would certainly be good for a laugh!
  6. Hi Fianccetto Thank you, I did find the site but its not open to anyone joining anymore. There is a link to Facebook, so I have requested to join. Even though we've been Geocaching since 2006, I've hardly been on this site. My hubby's been doing all the logging. I home educate our 11 year old so tend to get little time for things like this. But it is interesting hearing views from other Geocachers. And I always find it difficult to find a forum that I have left a message in. This time I've book marked it! Happy Geocaching :-)
  7. Hi We're in Suffolk, trying to move back to Norfolk. Came across this topic looking to see what is happening around EA with other Geocachers. We live in Orford but also previously at Raf Coltishall I do believe that it was Sue & Bernie that first told my hubby Jonathan about Geocaching. We started when we lived in Stansted in. Essex. Just doing that odd one now and again. Lately we have been determined to do it much more often. Our 11 year old loves it even if its a micro. :-)
  8. Thanks, but is it true or just a laugh? :-)
  9. Well I have been searching in the forums for local Geocaching organisations. I came accross this and wondered whether it was just a laugh or true. The first part would be fine but dancing round in circles in public is just a bit OTT even for me. I will try it on my hubby when he comes home!
