I saw this log while browsing some caches yesterday, "Didn't realize this was disabled until now. I walked all the way up there and found where the cache should be so I'm logging it."

I'm from NW Florida and a common cache spot here is in palmettos. I've also noticed a few lately in the roots of trees pulled up by recent hurricanes.

I have a nextel phone and just got the geocache navigator. I tried it out for the first time yesterday and it works like a charm. You just put find caches near me and they all pop up with descriptions, past logs, and hints. There are other search options on it to like search by zip or coords. I really liked not having to waste an hour and a stack of paper printing off caches.

I actually liked this one, I got a good laugh from it. "hmmm this hint will not help you in any way shape or form, good luck."

My mom and I found this cache Friday. It was really neat to see something so different. One of the best caches we've found!

The reservation is seperate from the actual base and there are no access points or designated entrances on the reservation. The reservation spans across 3 counties and is over 400,000 acres and about half the area is closed which only military can access. Most of the major highways used to travel town to town here is surrounded by the reservation. It's pretty much everywhere! Now to the problem...... I didn't realize this was a problem. I just placed a cache on the reservation today. Maybe we should do like Arther & Trillian said and require proof of an actual permit. I love caching on the reservation and if they decide to ban it....... we have nowhere else. All the caches in the area would end up micros in Walmart and fast food parking lots! Maybe just require a picture of the permit on one log and then give the link to it in the other Eglin caches you log? I'm not sure but we do need to resolve this ASAP. Eglin Resources are not people to make mad, they will ban geocaching just like they've banned other things in the past.
