  1. I attended a CITO at a local Humane society where the work consisted of landscaping, painting, minor building and kennel repairs, etc. Is that getting close to the line? Probably. But I recall a similar one at the Raptor Rescue Center, and considering the post you made last week about the cache in (or near) the California Condor Sanctuary, that might actually fit Keystone's definition. yes i was speaking to the type of service as helping the spca or nursing home or habitat for humanity or something like that.
  2. Yes i was going for overall 2/2 for stats, but I do feel that any time you require someone to go for something they would not go for otherwise.. like a 5/5 cache.. like for fizzy is changing the nature of someones caching.. dont get me wrong i agree with those who say if you dont want the challenge.. ignore it.. btw living in NH is challenge central..
  3. This may have been discussed before.. How about adding an event type "community Service" this is different then a CITO where you would get a group together to provide a service to a non-profit organization in need of some day labor type help? thank you in advance for your suggestions/concerns.
  4. Given the rule changes for challenges, it would appear that many of the challenges will not be approved based on todays standards.. a recent one in our area was denied as "it changed the nature of people's caching".. therefor a puzzle that required above a 2D/2T status could not be approved... if that is the case, the cache day (birthday required terrain 3/3), fizzy, cache-a-day and many others would not meet the criteria since they would require someone to change the nature of their caching.
  5. Good evening. I cannot log into geocaching it keeps saying my password and name are not correct. since i have had this on auto fill for a long time i was not sure what happened. I requested my cache name and the response sent me was Spikester1 I have never capitalized the cache name, it has always been lower case spikester1 I changed my password and still could not get in.. When i try to type in the Capital S int the log in box, it auto corrects to lower case which it has always been.. so i am thinking that is why i cannot access my account. your help would be appreciated. spike
