  3. The first cach I ever went looking for was right near my home in citrus heights CA. I took my wife and father in law along. We got to the cache area fairly quickly but had to wait awhile to search for it as a youn couple was getting "jiggy wit it" in the bushes. As soon as they got dressed and left, my wife promptly told me that I would not be doing this anymore! Of course I still do. My father in law has become down right fanatic about it. I cant really blame him, he is older and the girl was very attractive. LOL By the way, HA HA HA to the guy or gal who hid a cache within a hundred feet of the bigest nude beach in the auburn ravine. Glad my wife did not accompany me on that one.
  4. Bohica? Could that possibly be "Bend Over Here It Comes Again? Wow. That brings back memories of Uncle Dicky Marcinko in dadgum Neck! Great team name.

  6. Yes the cigar was a joke. Although as an adult it would be nice of find a cache with the tastfull gentelman in mind. The "Muff divers special" is a Jimmy Buffet thing. You have to read his books to understand. Well I am about to go out to Spenceville now and place the first cache. The hike to the cache wont be to bad, but I dont plan on using standard trails to get the a cache area. All of the caches I have found so far were right off of main trails, ie. no challenge! I plan to go to an area that I hunt during turkey season that is fairly remote and reached via deer trails. Are there guys out there that prefer to get off the beaten path and work for their finds? I hope so!
  7. The previous message was supposed to be a reply to another post. Please dont think I am an insane and random poster.
  8. I already have my first cache spot and container, I will be hiding it and getting coordinates this weekend. It is a 5 mile hike on fairly easy terrain near Beale Air Force Base. So in lue of the location and distance one must travel to find it I will place an MRE as well as some other stuff (perhaps a "Royal Jamacian" cigar) so the first finder can have lunch and a good cigar for their efforts. My next one will be tied via anchored line somewhere near the docks at lasen view campground on lake Almanor. I think I will called the muff divers special.
