  1. Nice looking coin and a must have being a fellow New Yorker. I think you already have me down for a trade.
  2. No, that's probably a month away yet. And no, I'm not setting up trades until I have it in hand.
  3. How should I sleep tonight? With your finger on the F-5 key.
  4. If you haven't found the new coin yet don't bother looking, its sold out already. Edit for correction; Must have loaded a cached page.... The sale is still on.
  5. Yup, you must have been burning up your F-5 key too. Since you posted the link I should probably lock this thread but I think I'll leave it open in the event yours gets locked.
  6. I just bought and paid PayPal for a new geocoin from a geocaching organization. There were 300 made of which only 200 are being sold. Since its being sold on a commercial website I can't post where it is on sale at. The resourceful will find it
  7. Wasn't me but I'll trade you a good spreadsheet for one!
  8. I'd like a set if I can buy them all together. If I have to burn up my f5 key and race to get in on a 40 second sale I'll pass. Wouldn't want to buy three then end up at ebay paying $50.00 for the last one.
  9. Is that the 2005 Colorado or a new 2006 Colorado?
  10. I wouldn't worry about the 1000 yet. The sale is set to go for 7 days so at the end of that time if they aren't all sold simply order what did sell rounded up to the next 100. When they come in my offer to help pack and ship still stands.
  11. I didn't realize he had changed the limit from 5 to 10. Maybe I'll go back and get 5 more.
  12. I don't think price is the issue here. The problem arises from limited production. When you see 500 coin issues sell out in minutes and 1000 coin issues sell out in 24 hours why do we still see 300 coin issues. There's just not enough to go around and we all know that from the start. No, price isn't the issue because if its a run of 300 it will sell out just as fast at $8.00 as $10.00. Its the limited production that's the problem.
  13. If you want the picture on the right just upload the picture to the listing then edit the bug page selecting that picture. For pictures anywhere else on the page the description must be entered as html code. The spinning coin is simply an animated gif, but it sure does look great doesn't it.
  14. Love the coin just the way it is. Tracking numbers area joke since most aren't even activated and end up in someone's binder. Is this about coin collecting or icon collecting? Just my $1.50 worth.
  15. Don't be so sure of that. The selective availability is being retired. Read the Geocoin Club main page.
  16. Rusty, I think you were just warming the pot for us........... Any more that you might know off............? Yup, but it'll be another month yet.
  17. Well, that explains all the empty space. What about the lights on the Jeep, though? I think a power surge and burned them both out.
  18. New technology is awesome and remember folks where you saw it first. Scroll down the page to the first Announcement. This is cool stuff but I think Jeremy standing by the headstone with a smoking shotgun would have been better.
  19. Yup, that was Junior Samples number for his used car lot. Load up both barrels and shoot me two of them.
  20. I like the design on the back but with all that empty space I think Signal should have been standing there with a smoking shotgun.
  21. Speaking of grim reaper coins I just noticed the photo of the February Geocoin Club coin has been posted on their website. This is way cool and timely. The coin has its very own secret...... think about it!
  22. You guy with your LE and small run coins kill me. You're generating a rare coin to benefit who? Sure a few collectors get bragging rights and the rest of us whine. The one making the coin invests his time and money in designing, ordering, packaging and distributing the coins not to mention fielding tons of emails. For all that he gets to pocket $1.50 per coin. The eBay dealers are buying up tons of these LE coins and sucking the collectors dry at $25.00 to $35.00 per coin. You're just feeding the monster. If you don't believe that take a look at the buyers list for the lighthouse coin from last night. Who's the fool now?
