I have a magellan explorist 210. I got a new laptop and went to put the software on it only to find that the cd had a good ol crack in it. Does anyone have a copy of it or something i could possibly download or any other ideas. Thanks

I have Mapsend topo 3d and was wondering how i could take my track logs and turn them into part of the map. I want to do this to mark snowmobile trails so they are in my map. Thanks

If you were really worried about someone taking it then you could chain it up with the padlock that locks the box although you might not be able to hide it as well

Also you have to make shure it is in nmea mode and go to configure device and search. hope this helps

I got a explorist 210 taday and whenever i try and hook it up to my computer it says device not recognized. I am pretty shure i am doing it as the directions say and i have downloaded all the software. Thanks for your help.

I wasnt planning on buyign both i was just pointing out that it was usb as someone was saying it might not recoginze usb. Sorry for any confusion

I was thinking about buying a explorist 210 as a first gps unit and was wondering if i could use it with my laptop and use it with microsoft streets and trips 06. if i connected it to the pc would it work like a laptop reciver? i was wondering as i would like to get streets and trips this week as it is on sale at best buy for $9.99.
