  1. Ok, I don't know what I did but now the listing is showing up on the Wherigo website.
  2. I recently developed a Wherigo using the Wherigo\\kit website. It works great when I did a test run on my own GPS unit. Know come the part I am having trouble with. I am trying to get it published to the Wherigo website. I click the "Publish to Wherigo.com" link and am taken to the http://www.Wherigo.com/cartridge/edit.aspx page to fill out the "Editing a Cartridge" information. I did that but I am unable to select a state after selecting United States in the country drop down option. When I click on the "Save Cartridge Details" button I get taken to a page (http://www.Wherigo.com/error/err.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/cartridge/edit.aspx) that gives me the error message of: An Error Has Occurred Your request has resulted in an error. Please return to this site's home page to continue. Can anyone provide feedback as to what might be going wrong.
  3. I could really use some help trying to figure out the following puzzle here in Southwestern Utah. [Link to cache listing removed by moderator] It has six number series that need to be figured out. Can anyone help in figuring this one out. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  4. I like it too. I would definelty be interested in buying one when and if they come out. The Mega Event in St. George, UT later this year would be a great time to bring it out.
  5. As others are mentioning I would also suggest the caches along the walking trails near and around the 215 beltway.
  6. I'm having the this problem also with my Wherigo Gone to the dogs. It seems that of the 10 or so people that have completed the cartridge and have written down the 15-diget unlock code, that code has only worked for 2 people. The cartridge has only been published for 10 days now and is only having a 1 in 5 unlock rate.
  7. I'm trying to get a Wherigo set up in southern nevada. It involves visiting five locations through out the city before getting a message with the coordinates to the actual cache. I have each of the five locations set up with zones and a task. When I go to the location the pop up messages saying that I have reached the location work but the task is not being marked as complete despite having the complete task codeing withing the individual tasks. Exactly where would I put the coding for marking the task complete. Whould it be under the When a task state changes, When a task status changes, When a task correct value changes, Whne the player clisks on this task.
  8. My understanding of Groundspeak policy is that the owner of a geocache can not have the trade one for one requirement when tradeing for travel bugs or geocoins in their cache. The reason for this is that it hinders the individual travel bugs and geocoins from accomplishing their mission. In my view point if I'm able to help the travel bug on it's way to accomplish it's mission then I will grab it to move it on it's way otherwises I only discover it.
  9. While I was deployed to the Middle East the geocachers "Pamelot" set me there "Our American Heroes #1" travel bug (TB14N5M). It's goal is to be in the hands of a service member deployed to the Middle East. I have been trying to track down a service member who is also a geocacher who is currently deployed to the Middle East and willing to take this travel. Does anyone know of a deployed service member and geocacher. Thanks
  10. Unfortunately a this time the answer is no. Sorry
  11. Here is what the icon looks like.
  12. In the past there was a program that you could enter the tracking numbers into this program and the program would automaticly retrieve or discover multipul travel bugs or geocoins. It would work great for events were there were a large number or bugs and coins to discover. I had the program at one time but it was already outdated by the time I got it so it would not work with the geocaching website.
  13. Front Back Asking price: $10.00 Shipping: $2.00 for the first coin and $0.50 for each additional coin. Will ship within 2 to 3 days from Henderson, NV. Those who live in the Las Vegas, NV and Henderson, NV area can do a local pickup with no shiping charge. I do accept PayPal. If interested e-mail me at mojave.rattler@gmail.com.
  14. I have had an Oregon 200 for about two months have found over 100 caches with it. I have noticed that a majored of the time when I get to within twenty meters that it starts going haywire in regards to which direction to go. As I get to within about ten meters I put the GPS aside and begin searching. Once I find the cache that is when the GPS starts to calm down. It has caused me to not want to buy another Garmin again.
  15. Is there an easy to use program out there that can log a large number of geocoins and/or travel bugs through the geocaching website.
  16. I my self would want my geocoins and travel bugs placed into members only geocaches. It helps cut down the possibility of the coin or TB going missing. When I place geocoins or TB that I don't own I prefer putting them in members only geocaches.
