How do I take a snapshot of a piece of map so I can email it without it bouncing because its such a big file? I dont want all the info sent, just a pic of the screen. Im pretty sure i use the print screen button somehow

how do i get rid of the straight line thats created from where i turn the gps off to where i turn it on again..should i just turn the tracks off on the gps itself? id rather not have to remember to turn it back on...also..do i have to download everything thats been saved everytime or can i just download the last days jaunt without deleting the saved tracks on my legend

that was it..thank you!!! it was set at just degrees..dont know why it changed so much..in fact i just checked and they still arent the exact same coords..why not? i downloaded them from the legend but the coords are different...at least its a tiny bit of difference now..and im happy with that

im having a heck of a time...the coords listed in my legend come up completely different after i download into trackmaker..that is,i just redownloaded everything to make sure and my waypoint coords for my new cache i just placed are completely different when i click on the waypoint in trackmaker...both are set for wgs 84(checked that)..and they are not even close..well i suppose you could call 22kms close in some situations..lol..any ideas?

How do i go about saving a little piece of track that ive zoomed in on and email it to someone else? Cant i take a sort of snapshot of the bit thats on my screen and save it? ...and then actually attach it to an email?

crossing the border can sometimes be a big problem..you never know when youre gonna wait a loooooooong time.. and ive got two kids to drag around..or else i would have to be home for them after school and couldnt take the chance of being stopped at the border

I really dont intead to hunt over the border any time soon, yet the first whole bunch of caches on my nearest list are american...any way to get them off..short of doing them that is..lol

ok i did all that but my track is not shown on a map, its just on a grid..am i obtuse?..when i get some map software..probably ms streets and trips..can i integrate the two?

how do you go about it?..and also..do i have or can i get a copy of the basic map that came with my unit for the puter?

I'Ve decided on the legend but dont have it yet..hubby goes fishing and wants to have maps so i figure ive got to go up that high anyway..I'm wondering tho, can i fit a good lake erie map and a southern ont map(Or parts of) at the same time or will we need to swap depending on who is using it? and also..is there anywhere i can get a map right now that has all the caches around my area on it?..and also..which software do you think i should get mapwise when i do go buy?..or do i just download from garmin?

i read something about ebay so i checked it out and i found a buy it now price for 11.50 american on a legend.. that ELEVEN DOLLARS and fifty cents..figured it had to be a mistake and didnt bother going thru all the signing up crap..it was a mistake wasnt it?
