  1. Hi Fin7, most of us have been were you are now....geocaching is just a sport and just take it one day at a time...try finding caches within 10-50 miles near your home location. I'm sure you have found "lets go caching" etc...., because you have a username. Now all you have to do is read, read, and read somemore. If you can find the forums, you can find geocaches. just get out and cache. Stay safe and good luck

Ask all the questions you need answers for....The forums belongs to those that need help and those that will freely give help, with no questions asked....Stay safe and be a concerned cacher....and don't for get to hide caches for others to enjoy. It is what we call "paying our dues"....Happy caching
  3. When you stop going to the forums and asking question that you should learn gaining experience by being in the field "geocaching". Start geocahing and have a little fun. If that fails, start hiding caches for others to log and have fun. Above all, stay safe. Happy caching.

  6. You can't find caches, but you can find the forum....It appears that you just don't prepare everything you need for a caching expeience...5 cahes since 2004 means something, but I don't know what that would be. Good luck and stay safe....

  9. If you want to geocache, you will need a handheld GPSr. I would not not think "cheap". there are a number of good inexpensive GPSr . Check out ebay, etc and the "garage sale" on this forum. I would recommend the GPS Map 60CSx. Also you might check out my "profile page" for additional caching information. Good luck and stay safe

  15. Buy and instaLL gsak AND YOUR caching life will be more fun and interesting....and you will have no problem loading as many caches as you wish to your GPSr....stay safe.
  16. I recommend that you stay with akaline batteries..........They are cheap, more power then rechar, no need to buy the junk that is needed to charge and they last longer.....I have been through the challenge...stay safe.

  18. Recommend....Premium Membership, GSAK, cachemate, and a good GPSr....Garmin Map60SCx handheld is a super GPSr.....Stay safe and start caching...experience will give you the info you need.....
