Sorry for being unclear. I meant making collectible geocoins with our own little hands. Not the trackable ones. Aren't there coins out there that are meant to be collected and not trackable. Sorry I am new.

Has anyone made their own geocoins for those who collect them? If so, I would love to know how you did it. thanks

Does everybody keep a record book or album of their cache finds? Something that logs or records location, items left/taken, any interesting info about the find? Would love to hear (or see pictures) of what you do. Preferably not kept on the computer or website. Something tangible like a scrapbook you can flip thru the pages.

I have seen some water proof containers by the kayaks and canoes at Dick's Sporting Goods. There are different sizes and colors/clear. They are hard plastic and have rubber rings to seal. I think they would work pretty well.

Do you keep a notebook of your cache finds? While I am waiting on my GPSr to be delivered, I want to be prepared for our first cache search. If you do, could you describe it for me? What all you put in it? What kind of notebook? Anything else? thanks, judi

I am about to purchase my first gps unit and am undecided between the Sport track Pro or the Platinum. The pro has twice the memory at 32mb but the platinum has a bunch of extras. I figure there is about $22 difference with the rebates and one has free shipping while the other doesn't. Looking for opinions and recommendations. I will be using it for geocaching and farming applications. thanks, judi
