Hello, I recently purchased an Explorist 200. All of the functions work ok but I am experiencing troubles with the unit. Sometimes, even in clear view of the sky when the unit says I'm locked on to even 12 satellites, I get a blank screen and then the hourglass. Unit starts searching again. This happens quite often. When it comes back up, sometimes my track log is gone. Yesterday when this happened I also lost my points of interest which had my cache listings on them. Luckily I had the Cache coordinates with me so I re entered them. This happened twice yesterday alone. Is this"resetting" common in handheld units or is it a Magellan thing or do I just have a lemon? Remember this happens in clear view of sky with no nearby obstructions. Very frustrating. Can anyone help please or give me some info on this? Thanks.
