  1. On the 78s (the 62 should be the same), go FIND -> TIDE this will give you the tides tables for the locations closest to you or go to find by name by pressing MENU. Once the proper location appears hit MENU again and press REVIEW POINT where details of the tide station appears. MENU again lets you look at the graph or you can change the date for when the kids show up at the island next week. Thanks for posting this. Coming from a 60csx there is a lot of hoops to jump through just to see the chart! I was stumbling, bumbling around on this, too, being a new owner of a 62s. There is good info above, but not the info you need. Someone said, "I am nowhere near the water right now.... so I can't verify." Not so. Here's what I found to work... 1st by accident, then by a whole bunch of frustration to make it work again! *$&%^$*#@!!! 1. Hit FIND 2. Scroll to and highlight TIDES, but DO NOT select it with ENTER 3. With TIDES highlighted, hit MENU 4. This will bring up a sub-menu with SEARCH NEAR and CHANGE ITEM ORDER. Select SEARCH NEAR 5. This will bring up another sub-menu. Select A MAP POINT. This will allow you to scroll near the area where the tides of interest are. 6. Scroll to the area of your tidal intrest on the map. Doesn't have to be anything special, just the arrow pointing at a point on the map near your tidal interest area. Our goal is to bring up a new set of TIDE POINTS to select from near this point. 7. The USE button will be highlighted. Hit ENTER to select this point. 8. The menu with TIDES will reappear with TIDES highlighted. Hit ENTER 9. This will bring up a new list of TIDE POINTS near the map point you selected. You can now select from the list a TIDE POINT of interest near the map point you selected by scrolling with the arrows, highlighting and hitting ENTER. 10. At the next screen GO is highlighted, rather than hitting ENTER to select GO, hit MENU. This will bring up the option to REVIEW POINT. 11. Select REVIEW POINT to see the tides for the TIDE POINT you selected. Wow! Long, round-about way, but you can see the tides for an area you plan to go to instead of the GPS default tidal points based on current location. Sheesh! It works! And I am putting it here for all the other poor newbies who are lost and those non-newbies who don't really know, and ME.... for the next time I need it! Sheesh! And one last thing.... SHEESH!
