  1. All I'm seeing are the old horus coins.
  2. How did you obtain the AN? Never saw it listed and i was on the site and saw them before this thread was updated as being in stock.
  3. .... 2 re's where made 75 pcs 4 xle's @ 40 pcs each. The photos above show you which where xle's. Never heard of the antique nickel version. Interesting. Now how to store them my 2.5" flips don't even come close...
  4. Resurrection! Found this at home depot which seems to have perfect size movable compartments for the time being using 2.5" saflips. Stanley tool organizer xl 46. It has 6 pull out drawers and the two trays that drop down. Phones camera so it's kind of an ugly pic. Anyone know of anything safe to store a large 2.2" 8mm thick coin in? I just got my stargate horus coins and they don't even come close to fitting in a 2.5" flip. Not sure I trust the nylon bags they came in for any long term storage. Hope to display them some day but that could be a while before we can buy our own house and get out of the townhouse!
  5. I'd like to know the mint numbers also. I forgot to write them down before they sold out. I want to say the xle versions were 45 and regulars 75 but im not sure. Or was it 25/45?? Horus was just released so nothing after. I'd love to see an Atlantis version with a wraith on it :-D
  6. Ordered yesterday. I'm still showing "a few left" on all of them. Center red block.
  7. I'll scoop up the white dragon clan coin.
  8. The addiction continues ... Still looking around for storage solutions, but for now I've taken them out of the damaging pvc based flips they come in and and put them in 2.5" saflips. Just a few that's shown up this week. Curse you awesome coin makers for taking my money!
  9. Jealous. Loved that show and guard the dvd seasons with my life lol. really wish they'd bring it back.
  10. That's reasonable! ve already seen a non xle listed on ebay for 3x what you can still order it for... Typical.
  11. That's pretty cool. Kinda funny someone not into geocaching is willing to go through all that to return a coin, when so many go missing by people that cache.
  12. I despise the word "muggle" it's childish and i can't stand the Harry Potter reference. Refuse to use that word. We all make fun of it. We have chosen to call non cachers zombies lol. I used to be an icp fan for years, but not once did i reference myself as a juggalo. Inb4 elitist remark.
  13. A few recent purchases. Just getting started I think I'm at about 18 not including the ones on the way. Going to have to start thinking about storage soon. Taken with phones camera so they're not the best.
  14. Just had this problem with same site last week. Go here: http://www.geocaching.com/track/ActivationCodeRetrieve.aspx
  15. Personally i don't think coin thieves would even bother logging a retrieve. So they either haven't been to a quality cache to drop it yet, or someone who tried caching for a week and didn't stick with it. Sounds like they made the attempt to do it right. I would think most thieves don't mention the coin in inventory at all, or claim it wasn't there in the log. Ive had a tb go missing and every now and then I'll check the profile of the user who picked it up to see if they are actively caching, and what size caches they're logging. Unfortunately the person who grabbed mine has 2 finds and hasn't went caching since the day he took it.
  16. I'm fairly new at collecting geocoins but i see this question asked a good bit. I think most collectors buy their own coins to collect. I'm sure their are thieves who take and keep activated coins from caches but the majority of collectors purchase their own coins for their own collection.
  17. Why is it people want to make "policys" and "regulations" where none is needed on everything? Who is going to want to place new caches having to jump through all the red tape? Next it'll be a cache tax! Leave it alone.
  18. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the pmc geocoin based off the puzzle box on hellraiser? My wife bought me one and I'm curious about it. I can't find much info on it. Who made it? When? Is it relatively rare? Thanks Wow had to fix whatever happened to my post.
  19. I've seen 5-6 different variations on eBay the last few days. Not sure if the auctions are still running but they are out there.
  20. Like mentioned before, look for anything unnatural. A stack of rocks or bark, anything that seems like it wouldn't happen on it's own. I'm up to 170 finds and the biggest lesson I've learned so far is never go off the trail to soon. Don't know how many times I've Bushwacked through 300± feet of brush to find a trail 100' from the cache lol. Be sure to read logs also before you head to one. I've also went to caches i couldn't find, checked the logs and there are 6 dnf's.... No wonder! Still getting my process down but it happens MUCH less now.
  21. Amazing coin. Unfortunately i started collecting a bit to late! Just started and have about 6 ordered. I'll be jumping on the new one for sure.
  22. Ok nevermind. I see em now! Lol
