  1. Would you check into a hotel if the clerk said you had to stay until someone came and took your place?
  2. Most damage to caches are done by muggles or mother nature. Making them a SOC won't make them more invisible or more weatherproof.
  3. What version are you using?
  4. As I read the situation, the OP wasn't the first to sign. The other cacher still had the logbook, borrowed the pen and then gave the logbook and pen to the OP. Of course, I may be wrong. The way I read it, FDNA rehid the cache while she went back to her car to get a pen. In the meantime LewisClan shows up and starts looking for the cache. She let's him find it. If I were him I would sign the log first claim the FTF and then loan the pen to FDNA to sign if she wanted to. I think offering the co-FTF was very gracious on his part. In her second post, she mentioned that she took the log with her to the car. If she took the log back to the car, then what he found wasn't a cache since it didn't have a log book
  5. So how does "if you don't sign the log it's not a find" fit into this example?
  6. I'm still anxiously waiting for mine to show up. The picture of it is very nice.
  7. I have a question, since I'm having a trackable coin made. Has anyone had problems with someone randomly plugging in letters and numbers on a code site trying to get the activation code, or possible seeing an unactivated coin in a collection and writing down the tracking number? This would seem especially easy for a coin where the activation code is the same for all coins.
  8. Finally got my nickel stamps finished, so they're up for trade now if anyone is interested

  10. Looks like the 13th was a typo, since this post suggests it would end on the 12th
  11. So that's what they do to sock puppets ...
  12. I will add that sometimes the tracking # is confusing, and it's possible to mix up an "O" and "0", or "I" and "1", "S" and "5" or "B" and "8", "6" or "G".
  13. Some cachers leave unactivated coins in caches as trade items or gifts. Looks like you may have found one of these coins. Enjoy
  14. Trading my 5-year chip for chips I don't have. All four colors can be seen on my profile, and my collection is linked below.
  15. I notice in the green bold you say "two unactivated geocoins" and in the blue #4 you say "trackable or nontrackable". I guess nontrackable would be unactivated but I want to be sure I will be able to participate.
  16. Since the original post didn't say "your" sig item ... seems like it fits
  17. 1. Participating - 07/08/07 2. Received Name 3. Mission Complete 4. Package Received
  18. Looking for a Luck 7 Event coin if anyone would want to trade for one of my gear coins, seen on my profile.
  19. What are the items you are leaving behind? I see maybe a cell phone over on the right, but what's the yellow boomerang in front of the log, and something lying on the log?
  20. For me, it's the puzzle I like a good challenge, and like to pass that on to the cachers. I'm sure they love me for it. Mostly it's the cache itself. I cache for the hunt, so I hide for the hunt.
  21. Go to the bug's page. On the right side, at the bottom of logging options, you'll see "Mark item missing". Click "Go" and the bug will not be listed in your cache. The next person to find it can log it into the cache they found it in, and then back out, fixing the mileage.
