anyone else get the GSAK message and unable to open the program? It asks to download the new version. It was working fine yesterday.

I entered my search in "by Address" as: Auburn, MA... Auburn MA ... Auburn MASS ... Auburn Mass ... Auburn Massachusetts ... Auburn, Massachusetts and the results were from Auburn NY, Auburn AL, Auburn NH... Now I'm stuck on getting only Auburn NH

I enter a city and state in this search line but I keep getting a city by the same name but NOT in the state I enter... What's happening here?

I'm having the same problem. But usually only on PQs that I need now for a trip or excursion. PQs I set up to run weekly go OK, but anything I add seems to take a number of hours.

I found a plastic, geocoin looking token with the GS logo cut into the center of it in a cache up in VT. There is a code on the outer ring which comes up blank when I do a trackable search. Is this a coin or a calling card or....?

Wish there was a filter to find paddle caches. We have a few here in central mass I know about but for my travels really wish I could sort the out quicker...

I'm closing in on my first 100 and was wondering, for all you seasoned cachers. Do you look for a special cache to celebrate your milestone or just take whatever?

Pre planning all trips has become customary. No longer will I get home and look up the area I was in- D'oH missed 12 caches when I was there- is a thing of the past

I have used the Hide-n-seek a cache to determine GZ by entering the name of the town (or village) the GZ is named after and looked on the map page for the coord. Now I never paid much attention to the zip code method the switch to maps. I checked on this tonight by using my home town Auburn Mass and then seperaretly the zip code 01501. The difference in the specified GZ coordds was about 3500 feet. That's a lot of ground to cover if looking for a cache. The 3 GZs I've done by using the town name has been successful to date.

Thanks for that Benchmark/waymark page W4C. When I was there I saw them everywhere but had no idea (as GS did not list them) that I could log my finds somewhere.

On Disney property itself there are only Virtual caches. Trad caches are not allowed on this commercial property. There is one placed outside the theme parks that has been sanctioned by Buena Vista Inc (GC13NPK). If you go to Orland Florida, Disney Resorts are south/south west of the GZ or West/South West of Orlando Int'l Airport (MCO) Follow I-4 south to Lake Buena Vista and you'll find them. I have recently completed 3 GZ in Central Mass, and they were all right on. The date hidden range was 7/06 to 8/07. Does anyone know how GS calculates the GZ or is that simply a carry-over from Google maps (which is my guess)?
