Believe me I know it will happen again and when it does I'll be ready. I was just thinking, it may just happen when I lose power. I'll try that next time. (Just shut off the power to the hard drive). Then see what happens. I hate it when that happens. CHTH

Can't believe it made a liar out of me. I don't know how many times I've shut off my computer and when I restart it then download a cache site easy GPS was not available and I had to reload it. So I just shut off my computer started it back up and downloaded two cache sites and it worked OK. Can't believe it but it happened. CHTH

I use Easy GPS to download from my computer to my GPS it works great but the problem I have is everytime my computer shuts down I have to reload it. Is this common or am I doing something wrong ? CHTH

I got a vista for christmas and once you learn how to use all the bells and whistles you will really enjoy it. I'm still learning but I've been accused of being a slow learner.

Great job, now you've set yourself some pretty high standards for future cache's.

I check my caches every month or so and if they are getting full I'll pull some items and start another one or use extra items to trade .

Heard guys talking about Geocaching at work and thought man this is for me. Went on ebay and bought a Garmin 12 and was hooked. I've been to places I would have never gone to if it wasn't for Geocaching.

By the way what does (warn 0%) mean?????

I don't care if its a micro or a traditional as long as its a challenge and in a area thats of interest because of history or the scenery. I don't find the Walmart parking lot either of the two.

I look at it like this, if they walk up on me its their loss. They should know whats going on and if someone is in the area they should walk away and come back later after your gone.

I got a Garmin Vista for christmas and so for its been great. Before that I had a Garmin GPS 12 that I still have, I let my grandson use it when we go together. It's built like a tank great for grandchildren.

Gee I got warned because I ask what kind of a trip were they talking about. Just wondered if they were walking or going in a car. Didn't know that was bad??? CHTH

What do you mean by a trip? If your going on a trip in your car get yourself a plug in for external power. Save you a bunch on batteries. CHTH

I have a Garmen GPS 12 and I am in the process of hiding my first cache. I need to mark a position starting at a gate. When I hit my mark button for a reading it gives me N 41 59.910. My question is how can 910 be correct? Isn't that the seconds? You can't have more than 60 seconds. Just new at this what am I missing?? Thanks for any help . CHTH
