  1. Thanks for your quick answers! It was not multiple spaces, but word made strage tags at that part, which I think causes the troubles. I have formattet the text once again in another html editor, now everything looks ok. One more reason to not use word .
  2. In my description of the Earth Cache GC1Y2Z4 I use html to formatt the text. On the cache page ther are missing serveral spaces in the german text. In my local file they are ok, also in the pocket queries viewed with GSAK. Has anybody an idea how I can display the correct formatting? The Text was writtten in Word and safed in html, the opend in a text editor in source (with the tags) and send with copy and paste to geocaching.com. Thanks for any hint.
  3. Thanks for the answers. It seems to be a problem to visit earthcache.org trough mobile internet connections. With DSL it works. Greetings from Switzerland Stefan
  4. Hello I thinking of making a new Earth Cache in Switzerland/Europe. But since yesterday I try to go to www.earthcache.org to read guidelines etc. But I cannont get a connection to it. On Geocaching.com I did not find an information. What is wrong here? Thanks Stefan
  5. Hello all, I think, that it would bee a good thing, if date and mesurements would be adjustable. It is right that GC.com is an US website and therefor they have the right to programm it their way. It is right that if I go for example to an US Site which works normally for US citiens that I don't expect the format we are used in europe. But I do expect, when I find a site with international customers, that then there is a way to adjust it. In this case it does not make any difference if I live in US and the site is in Europe or vice versa. For me there is beside the date much done in GC and I hope that it will be even better in version 2. I can also work with others formats, but it is also a matter of respect when I try to work for customers. It does not annoy me when something is not working like I want, but if like in serveal posts (more in the date discussion than here) I get an answer which says GC is an US website and the rest of the world has not even the right to request a change, then I am annoyed. Greetings from Switzerland Stefan
  6. I agree with you. Name of the cache is more important (interesting) than the name of the person to sort out.
  7. Hello there I searched also for it, and o found the wap-topic. But I am wondering, if there is something between, like an optimized version of geocaching.com to look at with a normal brwoser on a QVGA or VGA screen? Greetings and thanks Stefan
