  1. glad to hear that I'm not the only one with the issue. Apparently recreating the queries (via copy) will make them run immediately. The PQ server runs them in order of newest created first.
  2. I haven't recieved any Pocket queries yet today, normally I'd have them by this point in the day. Is anyone else missing theirs?
  3. What color, gold, silver, platnum? what color are the jewels? red? diamond? I'm no jewelry expert, so I have no idea if there is standard for wedding bands. I live near cincinnati and will search as soon as possible. Please send as much information as you can remember, which way were you facing when washing hands, how close to road, how close to guard rail, etc...
  4. Doesn't appear to be working.... It works, it's just very slow because I havn't optimized it for speed. the map will appear between my "states visited map" and my FTF list. It may take a minute or two. Since this map is generated in real-time, it doesn't pop up right away like a static image would. It has to be rendered, and is entirely database-driven
  5. Anxiously awaiting this feature being updated!! The WAP site appears to be working fine now, thanks for updating it.
  6. If you try to view a geocache at http://wap.geocaching.com , it states it can't find it, if it is a 7-digit code. The 6-digit codes still work fine. Please let me know if there is something I need to do...
  7. I just realized that last link I posted includes f=1, and wouldn't apply to anyone but me, here is a better example, it should show the closest caches, 20-per-page, to these coordinates, found or not, but it does not show 10 of the closest 20, because they are brand new, and 7-digit. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.asp...;lon=-84.538567
  8. I can't speak for the OP, but I am a premium member, and I am not 'page scraping', but I am experiencing similar issues when I click on the "Search for nearest caches from your home coordinates (filter out finds)" link from the "http://www.geocaching.com/my/" page. There were 10 new caches just published recently (within the past hour) , and now if you click on this link: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.asp...84.5615&f=1 , only 10 show where 20 used to be. If you click on the 'next page' button, you can see the next 20 closest ones (#21-40) I suspect it has to do with the fact that the 10 new caches that aren't showing up (even though they are counted) all have 7-digit GCcodes instead of 6. In a case where a seek request results in 20 caches with 7-digit codes, I can see it being a 'blank' page, which really means a page that has everything except the 20 lines of query detail.
  9. I have my own home-grown mapping solution, shows territory as well, it's in my profile and updates in real-time.

    Bomb Scare

I live in Butler County, I will be hiding a cache about 1 mile south of Monroe, close to where a large event will take place on September 2nd, 2006. What do you all think of this: http://www.channelcincinnati.com/news/9728912/detail.html
  11. I guess I mean, is there a way to do it without having to use Pocket Queries, or GSAK, or other mapping software? As in, a webpage on which you specify starting and ending zip codes or something, and it will just spit out a .gpx file for you? Even maps really aren't necessary for this task. I'm just trying to figure out if there is anything similar to this before I start working on it
  12. Is there any way to find all the geocaches between cities, so if one were to plan a trip from one city to another, they could find out all the caches along the way? Is anyone working on this out there? Do I need to put this together myself?
