  1. I have a G5. MacGPSBabel doesn't work yet unfortunately...
  2. I just started using a brand new Legend Cx today and thought maybe as a newbie that I was doing something wrong. Mine would tell me I was right on top of a cache and then when I would step maybe 1 ft in a different direction, it would say I was 10 - 12ft away in a different direction. It had me walking in circles, constantly changing directions. I see in the system setup that I have WAAS disabled. Is that a correct setting? I don't even know what WAAS is I do have mine to follow off road.
  3. I think I made a mistake buying my first GPS unit. I opted for the Garmin Legend Cx. The problem is that I'm a Mac user and now I can't figure out a way to UPLOAD the geocaching.loc file to the GPS. The only software that I've tried that has been able to recognize my GPS via my MAC is the LoadMyTracks software. Unfortunately, it DOWNLOADS info from the GPS to the computer. I need to go the other way around. Can anyone help me? I thought MacGPSBabel would work, but it doesn't seem to see the GPS when it's connected to my iMac. Help... Julie http://www.the-gadgeteer.com
  4. Is the 60CS easy to read in direct sunlight? Is it easy to use for someone that has NEVER tried geocaching before?
  5. Ha! Well I'm looking for a unit that will interface well with a Mac. I know some do not have USB cables, etc. Julie
  6. I'm looking for advice on buying a GPS. I'm a total newbie. Never used a GPS for geocaching, and I am a Mac user. My budget is anything under $300. What should I get? Julie http://www.the-gadgeteer.com
