  1. One thing is for sure. The TB's and Geocoins are not jumping out of the cache containers by themselves.
  2. I dislike the paper pictures of geocoins. They just don't feel like a coin do they. I have seen some reproductions made of metal slugs with pictures of both sides of a geocoin that looked pretty good. I have also seen a circular piece of wood with pictures sealed to it that looked nice. In my opinion if people would move the coins along instead of making them part of their collection there wouldn't be a problem.
  3. Your program was great. I used it from time to time and will hate to see you discontinue the web site. Good fortune to you and your family.
  4. Are you saying as of right now the GPX upload program doesn't do anything? Am I missing something? It looks like I can only upload my GPX file to the website but I can't do anything with it other than delete the file.
  5. My grandaughter found a Geocoin Fairy coin in a cache in MS.
  6. I am updating my gps. I am using a Garman eTrex Legend C at this time. This unit is my first gps and I am thrilled with it. I am looking to buy the Garman brand when I update. The two that stand out for Garman are the GPSMAP60c & GPSMAP76c. I can look at the pictures and tell the difference between the two. What I want to know is what is the difference on the inside. Which is the better gps? Which will work when the trees tops are thick and the clouds are heavy and overcast? Which is more up to date? Price looks to be the same on both and the supplied memory is 64m vs 128m. I am not considering supplied memory. I will probably upgrade the memory to something larger anyway. I want the best GPS that you would reccomend (and why) that I buy between the two. I will be using this for geocaching, hunting, fishing and traveling. Thanks for any advice. thecigarmann
  7. Something else to think about. I use a Garmin Legend C. If I am zoomed in to much, an accuracy rings pops up around my location triangle on the map screen. The larger the ring, the less accurate my location is. I have noticed lots of wandering on the map screen when I am zoomed in to much. According to my Garmin manual this happens when zoomed in to much for the map used in the unit at that time. thecigarmann
  8. I use the E-trex Legend C for my cache hunting. When searching for a cache, be sure to choose the "Off Road" option in order for the gps unit to show the "Found" button. When on the road traveling to the cache, I like to use the "Follow Road" option and when I get close I will recaculate using the "Off Road" option. Hope this helped. Thecigarmann
