  1. We are planning a trip to Washington state and would like to consider the #1 Cache in Oregon, while we are there. I used to have the number but, apparently, have lost it. any help?
  2. I'm probably missing something. I'm using "Easy GPS" to a Garmin 60CSx. With my previous PC, when downloading a PQ, it would come down with the cache title. Now I'm getting GC numbers. Any advise would be appreciated.
  3. I'm breaking in a new puter. Previouys GC's were loaded by name. This want to load by GC. Any Ideas?
  4. I agree with those who feel micros are a scourge to our hobby. I realize some micros are necessary in limited spots. IE; historical spots, etc. But, my experience yesterday finished it for me. We are visiting a portion of New York State through which the Finger Lakes Trail runs for over 500 mi. In planning a small trip of 20 caches around the area, we discovered most of them were micros!! One CO has 109 "traditional" caches within 25 mi. of our location. 6 of those are something other than micros. We went on the first two on our list and found them to be in the woods under a log! Needless to say, I have weeded out those from our future lists. Its a shame because, we found so many places that could have used "real traditional" caches but, we couldn't place any, even if we wanted to, because of a micro within the 528 ft radius. There's my soapbox entry for the day. Hope everyone who reads this is having a better geocaching day than I have.
  5. I've been trying to wade through the comments of those who are unhappy with the GE/KML link being taken away. I totally agree with the "200" and have to be included with them. Why hasn't there been any reply from the Geo-Castle in the Northwest, or did I miss it? I used it constantly and would love to see it brought back!!
  6. We are planning a trip to the Northwest. We were considering trying to find the first cache, which I'm told is in the Portland, Ore. area. Could someone give me an idea and "GC" description and what we may be getting ourselves into?
  7. El Diablo - Add me to the list. Need one for the swamps down here in Myrtle Beach
  8. I don't know if anyone will read this or not but, I finally got my Premium membership up after almost two months of screwing around with Credit Cards and E-mails. I gave up on all of that and sent a check by snail mail and after 2 and 1/2 weeks, I made it! It taught me that when renewal time comes up, that's the way to go. Thanks to all who took interest in my plight. It gave us a topic of discussion away from the normal. Anyone want to discuss Micro-Caches?
  9. I'm in the same boat submitted on 1/9/07 and have not heared anything. sent in email and I am still waiting Hey mopar400. I notice you are listed as a premium member. I'm trying to get there!
  10. Tks. Trucker Lee. That's what I'm going to try to do. I'll probobly have to play "phone tag" for a while but, I would like to upgrade my membership. I read the posts with your reply and I couldn't agree more. CU on down the road!
  11. Thanks for the help. But, I didn't pay through PayPal. I submitted my Credit Card. I had a couple of bad experiences with PP so I no longer use them. I'll wait till next week during working hours and call. Thanks again.
