  1. Hi, I recently got the 60Cx and a 1 gig Micro Sd card. Since this was my biggest upgrade to date being an orginal legend user alot of this mapping opportunity is new. I wanted to upload, since I live in Canada the metro maps, and the topos..but I wanted to make it so it was efficient on the gps. That is to say, rather then have a ton of maps to scroll through...I wanted to have them consolidated, and easier..i.e. 1 Ontario street map, and 1 Ontario Topo map etc.. So I thought I would use Img2Gps..I selected out the various elements and created new IMG files and re-named them.. I used sendmap seperately hoping my nenaming them from the stand weird filename that is given that it would work..To my surprise after they uploaded, when I went to the map screen and opened the map section...there they were a ton of seperate maps..what a pain really It would be nice to simply have it broken down like this and make it more memory efficient, and user efficient, that way when I want to load in a map..I can easily without scrolling through 100 maps to find what I want.. I am at a loss as to how to do this, any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Troy
  2. That's a great idea thanks
  3. Hi as a new geocacher my friend and I our having alot of fun with this... It would be nice to see as a feature besides being able to watch caches but also to watch other users.. The last thing I want is for him to surpass me in finds...lol. I just think ti would be a fun feature that can add some competiveness to friends who cache locally, or for those who are always on a race to get the first find especially if the one they compete against is only a cache or 2 ahead... Just a thought
  4. It all depends on what you are looking for. You can download any canadian topo map in Low rez for free of the Government webpage commonly referred to as Toporama http://toporama.cits.rncan.gc.ca/toporama_en.html You will still need to calibrate these images but it's fairly easy to do and the following page has alot of info http://members.shaw.ca/davepatton/mapcompare.html
