  1. ETrex Legend C It's been an awesome first GPS, planning on upgrading to a Garmin 60CS late summer which I'm looking forward to also.
  2. I recently purchased an ETrex and have been GeoCaching like crazy. I want a 60CS bad, but can't justify it with such a good ETrex. The batteries last forever, the response is good, it's accurate as anything else out there (accurate enough), it picks up a good signal, it has a gps based compass - speedometer - altimeter, it's waterprrof, and tough enough for the field. I mean what else could a guy want. The 60CS is definitely a better unit, but the better of the Etrex line (Legend and Vista) aren't playing around either...
  3. I just bought my E-Trex Legend C a couple weeks ago, and looked at the back of my box when I read the post. It says the Legend C can only store 500 Waypoints and 50 Routes.
  4. I recently purchased the Garmin Legend C about a month ago, and am so far extremely pleased with it, I was nearly able to load Topo maps of nearly the entire state of Virginia on it (It holds 24mb worth of data, which ain't a whole whole lot, but not too shabby either). The color screen is good, and it's reaction time is good. So far, it's been pretty durable, and the batteries last a lot longer than that of the Vista (I assume it's because of the compass in the Vista using up the batteries - You can disable the compass feature though).
