Teasel, Just thought I'd give you a word of warning about 1&1, do some research on the company before signing on the dotted line. They may claim to be No1 and they're far from it. They may appear cheap, but where 1&1 is concerned that isn't necessarily a good thing.

Basically you set up a seperate email account, a lot of people use gmail for this function. What GSAK does is search your inbox for pocket queries and will automatically add them to your database.

I don't think funding is the problem here, no one person wants to put their head on the block and actually say they're in charge. Doesn't surprise me really, great projects are always ruined by the people brought in to bring them to reality. Some one in the consortium needs to grow a set of balls and step up to the plate and not be frightened to make the important decisions.

You won't have lost any of your data all it means is: a) They've used up too much bandwidth and their host has suspended the account. or b ) They've forgotten to pay their latest hosting bill. Reputable hosts will not delete a site without trying to come to some sort of resolution with the client, they would also give a client a chance to back up any data before terminating the account.

I never release coins, keep them in my collection. When I create a TB I normally turn something I've found in a cache into one, like I did with the soldier TB I created, that way you haven't really lost anything of real value.

Would help if I read the post closer. I have never seen an option to extend for 2 years, just an automatic renewal at the end of the year's membership.
